Upon seeing Jungkook fell, the twins quickly rushed down the stairs to his side. "Jungkook!" Jin also ran out from the kitchen after hearing the commotion and saw the younger on the floor. He kneeled and cradled Jungkook's head on his lap. "Koo? Hey, kookie. Appa is here. Do you hear me?" Jungkook's eyes were dropsy and in daze so he probably didn't hear them.
"A-appa-" Jimin called, looking at Jungkook's bleeding forehead in horror. Jin widened his eyes. "Get the car. We need to bring him to the hospital now!" Jin instructed Jimin who ran out. He looked at Taehyung. "Tae, help me carry him to the car." The younger nodded silently, still in shock.

Jungkook fluttered his eyes open slowly, feeling confused. He tried to get up but fell back onto the pillow. His head was pounding badly. He blinked his eyes repeatedly to clear his vision. All he saw was blinding light.
Where is this?
"You're awake."
He heard a soft voice spoke and soon a figure appeared in his line of vision. "Hello, Jungkook. I'm Dr Lee. Your personal doctor. Can you tell me how are you feeling?" Jungkook stared at him for a few seconds collecting his words. "H-head-" His voice came out croaked and dry but Dr Lee understood.
"Is your head hurting?"
Jungkook tried to nod as best as he can not to make the pain worse. "Understand. Your head hit really hard. I will prescribe you with stronger painkillers." The doctor wrote down on his board. "Anything else is hurting?"
Jungkook thought for moment, still half conscious. "M'h-hand." He mumbled now feeling the slight pain on his arm. "You seem to sprain on your wrist when you fell down. Don't worry, it will be okay for a couple of weeks." Dr Lee wrote down again. "Do you remember what happened, Jungkook-ssi?"
The younger frowned before he shook his head. "N-no." The other nodded, writing down. His face looking serious. "Okay thank you for your corporation, Jungkook-ssi. Now, your family is here to see you. Do you want to see them?"
Jungkook tensed, his family? No no does his step parents are here? He needs to hide no no he can't see them. The heart monitor beeping loudly as his heartbeat speed up. Mr Lee was startled by the reaction, quickly called a few nurse to hold him down as Jungkook started to struggle and scratching himself.
"N-no pl-please don't h-hurt me. I-I'll be good pl-please."
Jungkook's frantically wails trying to get away. Mr Lee tried to calm him down but his words didn't seem to reach out to the younger. He was getting worried so he instructed the nurse to get the injection. He didn't want this but it needs to be done.
A few seconds later, the medicine kicks in and Jungkook's breath even out and laid limp on the bed. The doctor sighed watching the younger sleep. "This is going to be difficult." He looked at the nurse. "Call the Kims to my office."

They sat around the waiting area waiting for the doctor to update about Jungkook. Jin was hugging Taehyung, gently running through his hair to calm the younger. Jimin was with Hoseok sitting at the other side, mirroring the two. Taehyung and Jimin were both in shock as they saw what happened.
Yoongi sat next to Jin offering silent reassurance for his father by softly holding his hand. Namjoon paced around the area a few times before leaning against the wall. He had went home straight after getting a call from Jin saying they are in hospital. He called Yoongi and the other two soon arrived after him.
It was chaos seeing the his husband and two other children crying and hugging each other in the hallway. He didn't pressure what happened and focused on making the three of them calm down.
It was about two hours ago though and it's still no news regarding the youngest. Jin mentioned briefly that Jungkook fell down the stairs. He knew it wasn't all but it was enough for now.
"Kim Jungkook's family?
All of them looked up seeing a nurse approached them. "We are." Namjoon walked to her. "Dr. Lee asking for all of you in his office. He needs to discuss about the patient." She continued. Each of them looked at each other worried but swiftly followed the nurse into the familiar hallway.
Namjoon went first and knocked on the door. "Please come in." The Kims all entered. Namjoon and Jin sat on the chair facing the doctor while everyone else stood behind their seat. "How... how is Jungkook, doctor." Jin spoke after a while. His husband hold his hand under the table.
Dr Lee sighed heavily making the others shared a worried look. "Physically, he is fine. The injury aren't too severe. The cut on his head need stitches and need to avoid contacts of water for now until the wound closed nicely. He had sprained his wrist from the fall and will need a couple of weeks to heal."
"It's not too bad, right?" Hoseok asked.
Dr Lee nodded. "It's not. After a lot rest, it will heal." His voice turned somber. "That's physically. Now I wanna talk about mentally." Everyone tensed and and focused on what the doctor wants to say.
"Just now, Jungkook had a panic attack." Everyone gasped at the information. "He just woke up and after I checked on him, I asked if he wanted to meet his family. He suddenly started to panic and hurting himself. Yelling about not to hurt him. We need to sedate him to calm him down." Dr Lee finished looking at the family.
Jin gripped Namjoon's hand that keep holding his. The boys was looking away and some have tears in their eyes.
"My observation is, his brain thought that he is still with his abusers and he is going to get hurt. I recommend you to seek for a psychiatrist for him. This is years of trauma we are talking about." Dr Lee said sternly.
Namjoon nodded on their behalf. "We have been thinking about it and have someone in mind." Dr Lee nodded. "That's good. The boy is still young. He does not deserve to suffer like this. Not anymore."
With Mr Lee's permission, all of them went to Jungkook's room. They stilled at the doorway seeing the small figure sleeping on the bed. A small bandage plastered on his forehead where the stitches at. The cut was small enough to not leave permanent scar. His hand was bandaged with white cloth. There's a monitor softly beeping to his heartbeat.
They sitting around the room chatting quietly and glanced at Jungkook from time to time. Hours passed at it was past 2 in the evening and no one eaten yet. Jin, Hoseok and Taehyung went down to the cafeteria to get something. Jin being the mother hen wouldn't let anyone not eating anything.
And so the others stayed in case Jungkook woke up.
