"Shh they will wake up."
Jungkook blinked his eyes open hearing some whispers by his door. His sleepy eyes looked at Taehyung who was asleep hugging him. He closed his eyes and snuggled more to the older before falling asleep again.
Meanwhile Taehyung woke up feeling the movement next to him. He smiled seeing Jungkook asleep and kissed his forehead before pulling away slowly. "You guys really don't know how to be quiet." Taehyung mumbled looking at the people by the door.
They smiled sheepishly. "Good morning, Tae. Breakfast is ready. Wake Jungkook up and come down." Jin spoke. "Okay appa." The others walked away from there leaving Taehyung with sleeping Jungkook.
"Are you sure he wouldn't get back sleeping?" Hoseok spoke as they sat by the dinning table. Namjoon chuckled. "Maybe? I doubt something happened last night that Taehyung went to sleep with Jungkook. I think it is his nightmare again." He sipped on his coffee.
Jin serve them their food. "He is getting nightmare frequently. It's going to effect his health." He said sitting down on his own seat. Namjoon nodded. "I am thinking on getting him therapy but only if he agrees to. He was living years of pain and fear. We will help him, of course but we need professional too."
Jin looked at his husband in understanding. His husband always knew what to say and he admire that. "Have you found someone?" Namjoon nodded and looked at Yoongi. "The doctor was my doctor previously." The oldest son spoke up. Everyone looked at him. They knew Yoongi had been to a therapist before for his depression in the past.
It was still sending chills to Jin knowing that his son had been through that. It felt like he failed as a parent even though nothing was his fault for Yoongi's depression. It happened years ago when he was in middle school until early college he recovered from that. The brothers didn't know much but they never pressured the details. It was only in between him, their parents and the doctor.
Meanwhile, Taehyung and Jungkook still laid on the bed but the older was now fully awake. Just staring at Jungkook's sleeping face. He looked peaceful while sleeping. After a few minutes he decided to wake the younger up. "Kookie." Taehyung gently poked on his cheeks. The younger grumbled.
"Kookie wake up. We need to eat breakfast."
Silence.
"Appa made kimchi fried rice today."
Jungkook shot open his eyes by the mention of the food. Taehyung laughed knowing food always been his priority.
So a few minutes later, Jungkook happily eating his breakfast as the family looking at him fondly. "Slow down, bunny. The food aren't going anywhere. I cook plenty." Jin chuckled grabbing the tissue to wipe the younger's cheek which stained with rice.
Jungkook sheepishly smiled. "The food is tasty appa. I never eaten something like this." He whispered the last sentence but everyone heard it. Everyone sobered by the fact that their maknae had being starved most of his life.
"Then have some more. You need to eat if you want to grow taller than Jimin." Jin voice break through the tension earning a protested whine from Jimin. "Hey! You can't say that Appa!" Everyone laughed seeing his sulking face.
"I'm going to the company for a meeting today. I'll go after breakfast." Namjoon spoke after a while. Jungkook perked up looking at him. "I will go to the headquarters with Hoseok. We need to see the new recruit's training." Yoongi spoke after.
Soon, those three guys went out of the front door to their respective work. Jin went to his room to change his clothes. He wanted to bake some cookies today for everyone especially Jungkook. "Appa, me and Chim will be taking Kookie with us to play games!" Taehyung informed as he and Jimin dragged Jungkook upstairs to the gaming room.
The younger gaped seeing the spacious room lighten with dim LED. There's a big screen placed by the wall and a couch facing it. There's also a few PCs at the corner of the room. "Come here kookie. Let's play." Jimin sat on the couch and handed him a controller. Jungkook take it and sat in between his brothers. "Uh, but I don't know how to play. I never played games before."
Both of them smiled. "Don't worry we will teach you. Maybe you will be even better than Tae." Jimin smirked. "Hey! I'm a professional okay. No one can beat me." Taehyung gasped dramatically.
1 hour later..
"Okay, I give up. You are better than me." Taehyung sighed plopping on the couch. Jungkook was better than they expected. He was a fast learner. This was the third time he wins against Taehyung. Jimin laughed while Jungkook giggled.
"Let's play another game. I'm getting bored." Jimin said putting down the controller. The other two did the same. "What do we want to play?" Taehyung asked.
"Kookie?"
"Hm, wanna play hide and seek? I know it's a bit childish but I never-"
Jimin cut off his rambling. "Let's do it then. What Kookie want, he gets it." Taehyung shot up from the couch. "The last one has to count!" He then bursts out of the room. "Kookie needs to count" Jimin too ran out of the room leaving dumbfounding Jungkook. He huffed and whined. "You guys are mean."
Nonetheless, Jungkook was too good for searching too. He found Taehyung under Hoseok's bed and Jimin hiding in the kitchen with Jin. Then, it was their turn to find the youngest brother.
Jungkook silently giggles as he hides in the store room next to the stairs. It was small and packed with old boxes. He knew he can't hide there much longer if he wants to risk having an asthma attack because of the dust. He peaked from the slightly opened door making sure Jimin and Taehyung weren't there before he made a quick run towards the stairs.
Halfway through the stairs, he heard noises from upstairs and someone yelled "Yah Kim Jungkook. You can't run from us!"
Jungkook's mind went blank for a second hearing the word. He gasped as he tripped on his legs on the few last steps and fell down onto the hard floor. His head knocked hardly on the tiles. Jungkook laid limp on the floor as his ears buzzing and his vision blurry. He didn't register the voices yelling around him or the hands holding him.
His mind repeated the same words before he drowned in darkness.
