The next few days passed with an uneasy tension lingering in the air of the safe house. Aurora was sitting in the garden, trying to focus on her work, when she felt a strange shift in the atmosphere. She looked up to see Doctor Strange materializing before her, his cape billowing around him.

"Stephen" Aurora said, startled not so happy to see him after their last encounter. "What brings you here?"

Doctor Strange gave her a grave nod. "Aurora, we need to talk. It's urgent."

Aurora's heart skipped a beat. "What's going on?"

Strange took a seat beside her, his expression serious. "One of our students at Kamar-Taj has turned against us. He's been dabbling in dark magic, and his power is growing rapidly. We fear he may come after those connected to the mystic arts."

Aurora frowned, concern etched on her face. "Do you think he’s coming after me?"

Strange shook his head slightly. "We can't be sure, but we need to be prepared. I came to warn you and to see if there's any way you can assist us in tracking him down."

Aurora nodded, her mind racing. "I’ll do whatever I can to help."

Strange gave her a small smile, his eyes reflecting the weight of his responsibilities. "Thank you, Aurora. Stay vigilant."

With that, he disappeared, leaving Aurora with a new layer of worry to contend with.

Meanwhile, Yelena was preparing to leave Paris for a few days. She had a mission that required her attention, but her thoughts kept drifting back to Aurora and the safe house. She packed her bags quickly, then made a call to Mia.

"Hey, Mia. I'm leaving Paris for a few days, Just wanted to let you know."

Mia’s voice was soft on the other end. "Be careful, Yelena. And...thank you for everything."

Yelena smiled, though Mia couldn’t see it. "Take care, Mia. I'll be back soon."

With that, Yelena departed, the weight of her mission pulling her away from the people she cared about.

That evening, Kate and Wanda found themselves in the living room, a tense silence hanging between them. Finally, Wanda couldn't take it anymore.

"Kate," Wanda began, her voice strained. "We need to talk."

Kate looked up, her expression wary. "About what?"

"About Aurora," Wanda said, crossing her arms. "I can see you’re trying to get close to her. But you need to understand that she’s going through a lot right now."

Kate stood up, her demeanor defensive. "I know that, Wanda. And I'm just trying to be there for her. Unlike you, I’m not trying to control her."

Wanda’s eyes flashed with anger. "I’m not trying to control her! I’m trying to protect her!"

Kate took a step closer, her voice lowering. "Protect her from what? From you?"

Wanda’s face paled at the accusation, but she held her ground. "From herself. You don’t understand the kind of power she has. If she loses control, she could hurt herself or others."

Kate shook her head. "And what if you’re the one pushing her to that point, Wanda? Maybe she just needs someone who can be there for her without all the drama, don't you remember what happened when you tried to get your kids back, she told me."

Wanda felt her anger bubble over. "I wasn't in control, i did some bad things, she helped me...(she paused)You think you can do better?"

Kate’s eyes narrowed. "Maybe I will. And maybe Aurora will see who really has her best interests at heart."

With that, Kate stormed out of the room, leaving Wanda standing there, her heart aching with the fear of losing the one person she cared about most.

A few minutes later Aurora came back inside catching Wanda collecting her things ready to leave. "Wanda, what are you doing, what is going on" she said panicking. Wanda didn't even looked at her she grabbed her bag walking towards the door. Aurora grabbing her arm turning her around and stepping in front of her. "Get out of my way" Wanda harshly snatched her arm out of Aurora's grip. Aurora stepped closer to her now hurt from Wanda's words but hiding it anyway. " No, I won't" Wanda grew impatient with her she took a few steps back, her hands start glowing red magic. " Aurora step back" Wanda warned. Aurora stared at her for a few seconds stunned by her actions, before getting out of the way and letting Wanda pass. Wanda took a last glance at her before walking out. Aurora sighed shaking her head.
