AURORA

One Of Them

Natasha woke up with a start, her instincts kicking in immediately. She looked over at the empty space beside her on the other single bed and felt a jolt of worry. "Aurora?" she called out softly, but there was no response. She quickly got up, checking the living room and kitchen, her concern growing.

Meanwhile, Clint and Kate Bishop were seated in the office of Doctor Strange. The sorcerer sat behind his desk, his fingers steepled as he listened intently.

"We're not sure if we should tell her," Clint said, his voice heavy with concern. "Natasha and Pietro, one of them might be an imposter. Aurora's been through so much already."

Doctor Strange nodded thoughtfully. "I understand your dilemma. It's crucial to determine the true identities, but Aurora's mental state is fragile. The revelation could push her over the edge."

Kate spoke up, her voice steady. "But keeping it from her isn't right either. She deserves to know the truth. Maybe we can find a way to break it to her gently?"

Clint sighed. "We need to protect Aurora, but we also need to protect everyone from potential danger. What do you recommend?"

Doctor Strange leaned forward. "Prepare her, build her strength, and then we reveal the truth. We'll proceed with caution."

Back at Aurora's house, Natasha found her in the kitchen, standing near the window. She could tell something was off. "Aurora?" she called softly.

Aurora turned, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "Natasha, I... Wanda was here."

Natasha's eyes widened in alarm. "What? When?"

"Just now," Aurora whispered, her voice trembling. "She tried to apologize, but I couldn't... I couldn't listen."

Natasha stepped closer, wrapping her arms around Aurora. "It's okay, detka. You don't have to listen she made her choice..."

After 6 hours now afternoon, Clint and Kate returned. Clint's face was set with determination. "Aurora we need to talk" he said, his tone serious. "It's important"

In the outskirts of town, Wanda sat cross-legged, meditating. She focused on her breathing, trying to control her magic. Her mind kept drifting back to Aurora, and the pain she had caused. She didn't understand why she had lost control. She had trained so hard, learned so much. Why did it all go wrong?

"Why did I lose control?" she murmured, her voice echoing in the quiet room. "What went wrong?"

As she delved deeper into her meditation, she tried to find the source of her instability. Memories of the Darkhold, the chaos magic, and her battle with Agatha flooded her mind. She had thought she could handle it, that she could control the power. But now, she wasn't so sure.

Back at Aurora's house, Clint , Aurora and Kate gathered in the living room. Clint and Kate shared what Doctor Strange had told them and all about the situation.

"So they all been lying to you" Kate said gently. "Are you okay?"

Aurora's eyes widened in shock. "So there's an imposter and you didn't tell me, oh my god! What's wrong with you people????"

Kate stepped forward, her voice calm and steady. "In my defense I was scared of the looks I was getting so i-"

Aurora nodded slowly, feeling overwhelmed."Kate, stop talking please"
Kate closed her mouth staring at Aurora.

"You stay away from her, do you understand?" Natasha ordered Wanda. "I'm sorry for what happened, I really am, but I care a lot about Aurora, I can't just leave her". "If you care about her leave, Wanda". "So you can be with her?That's what you're trying to do?". "You had experience with love before Wanda! I did not, she was my first, I'm not talking about Bruce or the little crush I had on captain, she learned everything about me and she stayed, she stayed! I always thought love is for children Wanda...but Aurora showed me...she showed me what I thought I'll never see or feel, so please, let me have that again...". Wanda couldn't form any words so she just stared at her.

"I won't lose my sister" Yelena stepped forward. "Weither she wants to be with Natasha or not". "I have a question.". "Of course you do" Natasha sighed. "Why Aurora talks to all of you except me?"Wanda looked between Natasha and Yelena. After a few seconds of silence and looking on the ground Wanda spoke up again. "She doesn't know...". Yelena took a few steps near Wanda. "And she won't". "She needs to know, I don't trust your sister, what if she's the imposter here?". "She's still my sister.". "What about your brother?" Natasha stepped forward. "What if your brother is the imposter and you know about it and you just blame me...". Wanda frowned. "You are the one that doesn't remember things not my brother. Before Natasha could answer her phone rang, it was Aurora. "It's her" she said smirking at Wanda. Wanda turned her back leaving Yelena's house.

"Hey Tasha, where are you?". Natasha sat at the kitchen's counter, Yelena closing the front door after Wanda left. "At Yelena's, is something wrong?". "No, no just checking.". "Okay I'll come home in an hour, okay?". "Cool, we talk later, bye Nat". After Aurora ended the call Natasha looked at Yelena in concern. "What?"Yelena asked. "She knows" Natasha sighed getting a frustrated look form her sister.

Wanda and Pietro walking nervously towards an abandoned house where Aurora texted Wanda to meet her. "Are you sure she's coming?" Pietro asked in disbelief. "Calm down it's not even five minutes, she said she'll meet us here..." Wanda answered him looking around.

Kate grabbed Aurora's arm turning her around. "What are you going to do?? Why are you rushing?Aurora!." Aurora pulled her hand out of Kate's grasp making her step back a little. Clint just watching her already Knowing what was going on her mind. Aurora rushed to the kitchen pulling a knife out of the kitchen knife case on the counter and a gun inside a kitchen drawer under some towels. "What are you doing????" Kate said clearly scared by Auroras sudden actions. "What are you going to do?" Kate blocked her way but quickly regretting it stepping to the side. "I'm going to kill one of them..." She looked at Clint. "Don't try and stop me". " I won't " Clint confirmed. And with that she just disappeared.
