Haseena hesitated when the girl asked, "Are you following me?" The girl stepped forward, just two or three steps near her and for the first time, Haseena saw her closely. Haseena hesitated, "Is she really seeing me or just sensing my presence?"

"How can she look at me like this even though she is blind?" Haseena thought.

Haseena couldn't help but feel mesmerized by the way the girl seemed to look directly at her.
She wondered how someone who couldn't see could seem to look directly at her. Unknowingly, Haseena smiled and whispered to herself, "Damn she is pretty."

"Excuse me?" the girl said, snapping Haseena back to the moment.

"Nahi, hum toh bas apne ghar ja rahe the." Clearing her throat, Haseena quickly replied.

The girl looked curious. "Apne ghar?"

"Ji, yahan se aage hi kuch distance par humara ghar hai. Toh humara rasta yahi hai ittefaq se. Aap humare aage chal rahi thi." Haseena pretended.

The girl relaxed a bit and said, "Oh, I'm very sorry. Humen laga koi humare peeche aa raha hai."

"It's ok," Haseena said, trying to sound casual. "Hum jaate hain."

"Ji," she said, before walking inside.

Haseena also turned to leave but after a moment she stopped and looked at her to let her go first.

She stood there for a moment, watching the girl until she enter her home. She took a deep breath and muttered to herself, "God, she is something. How can she look like this when she even can't see?" With that thought lingering in her mind, Haseena turned and headed towards her own house, her heart was still racing from the unexpected encounter.

Haseena was in her room, engrossed in a book, when her phone rang. She glanced at the screen and smiled before picking up the call. "Aj humari yaad kaise aayi, Piya?"

"Humein toh aapki yaad aati hi rehti hai. Bas Dehradun ki Haseena ko hi fursat nahi milti." Piya's cheerful voice came through the line.

"Kaise ho, Piya?" Haseena laughed.

"I'm fine. Aur tumse poochhne ka koi faida nahi hai. Tumhare Mogamboo father ke saath reh kar koi kaise hi ho sakta hai?" Piya said in sarcasm.

Haseena sighed softly. "Please, Piya, aise mat bolo. Dad hain. Humein bura lagta hai."

"Acha acha, theek hai. nahi bolti." Piya apologized. "Aur batao, kya chal raha hai? Awaz se thodi khush lag rahi ho. Kya Badshah Salamat kahin gaye hain?"

Haseena couldn't help but laugh again. "Haan, ek week ke liye. Aur hum free hain."

"Main toh kab se bol rahi hoon tujhe, bhag ja ghar se, yahan mere paas aa jao, phir tou tum free hi free ho gi Jo marzi kro." She suggested.

Haseena sighed. " Ki ti khosis aur kia hua ta pukary gay ty, Aur tumhe lagta hai woh humein wahan nahi dhoond payenge? Jab se unhein pata chala hai I'm into girls, woh aur bhi zyada strict ho gaye hain."

"Isi liye ab tumhe kisi ladki se friendship tak nahi karne dete. Mujh se door kar diya tumhe unhone." Piya's tone turned serious.

Haseena sighed, piya was her best friend apart from piya she had 3 more friends but her dad made them all out of her life after know about haseena preferences and also piya who once helped haseena to leave her house but got caught but somehow piya still manged to be in contact with haseena.

"Tumhen pata ha hum college jaty han." Haseena said with excitement to divert the topic.

Piya's voice carried a note of disbelief. "College jaati ho? Tumhare dad ne ijaazat di kaise?"
