As they reached the end of the road, Karishma glanced at Haseena, who was still lost in her thoughts of Karishma previous panic state about ambulance.

"Haseena," Karishma said gently, breaking the silence. "Humen pata hai ap ka janay ka man nahi hai, par agar ap chahein, tou hum se milnay aa sakti hain. Coffee peenay aa sakti hain… yahan."

Haseena blinked, She turned to look at her, and seeing the slight mischief in Karishma's eyes, her lips curved into a smile.

"Toh hum yeh samjhein kay ap indirectly humen apne saath coffee date pe bula rahi hain?" Haseena teased, arching an eyebrow.

"No. I’m directly asking you." Karishma met her gaze steadily.

Haseena couldn’t help but chuckle, "Sochen gay,"

"Kia....ap abi bi souchen gi....?"

"You know I don't even like coffee."  she replied, her voice softening as her teasing took on a playful edge.

Karishma tilted her head slightly, eyes glimmering with a challenge. "Ahaan? Toh phir... what about the company you'll get along with coffee.?"

“Hmm, that I am admitting, the company sounds too tempting to refuse,” she said with a grin.

"Okay agar asi baat ha tou i will wait for you...." Karishma said as haseena turned to leave her way.

"See you..." Haseena called out glancing at her back.

As Karishma pushed open the door to the cafe, the familiar scent of coffee and freshly baked goods greeted her. She stepped inside, her eyes scanning the cozy space that always felt like a second home.

“Good morning, Karishma!” Uncle John’s warm voice called out from behind the counter, He gave her a kind smile.

“Good morning, Uncle!” Karishma replied, flashing him a smile before her expression turned bit hesitant
“Sorry, Uncle, hum kal nahi aa paye...”

He waved his hand dismissively, “It’s okay, Don’t worry about it. Is everything was okay?”

Karishma paused for a second, her mind flashing back to the events of the previous day. “Actually, it wasn’t fine. But now… now everything is fantastic.”

Uncle John raised an eyebrow, giving her a curious look. “Yeah, it seems everything is fantastic. Is there something new?”

“Yeah…” A knowing smile touched Karishma’s lips as she nodded.

“What is it?”

“Some other day,” she replied, leaving him hanging.

“As you wish.” Uncle John chuckled, shaking his head.

“Thank God you didn’t fire me from work for missing yesterday!” she said as she walked past by the counter.

“Don’t worry, we can’t afford to lose a chef like you.” Uncle John laughed.

Karishma chuckled at his remark and she slipped on her apron and got to work, along with waiting for haseena.

After finishing up her work in the kitchen, Karishma wiped her hands on her apron and stepped out into the cafe. Her eyes instinctively scanned the space, searching for a familiar face. She glanced around, checking the tables, but there was no sign of Haseena. A faint sigh escaped her lips as she thought to herself, "Kis time ayen gi?

With a small shake of her head, she decided to take a seat. Walking over to Uncle John, who was sitting behind the counter, she pulled up a chair in front of him and sat down.
