Continuation......

"I have to left her, the best I can do for her....."

Piya was silent for a moment, understanding Haseena's words. "Tum sure ho?" she finally asked.

Haseena nodded, "Haan, Piya. Agar hum un ky ki zindgi ko khatray ma nae dal sakty agar Dad aur Arman ko Zara sa b idea ho gaya Arman tou phir, Dad un ki zindgi lany ma....... "she couldn't form words further. "Nae piya humen souch kar hi dar lagta ha."

"Haseena, tum itni negative mat socho. Sometimes just being there for other makes all the difference." Piya said, trying to lift her friend's spirits.

"I'm there for her as long as I could...."Haseena sighed.

Piya, sensing the heaviness in Haseena's voice, immediately shifted her tone to something more upbeat and comforting.

"Haseena abi say wo sab souchna hi kiyun ha Just think about the good moments. Like, how was last night?"

Haseena smiled faintly, remembering the night. "It was... magical. Humne saath mein coffee pi pastry..... baatein ki. I got to know her dreams, her passion. It was like a dream."

"What tum coffee pee aur pastry...." Piya shouted in surprised.

"Piya actually hum galat ty, achi hti ha."

"Han han madam ab ap ko sab kuch hi acha lagy ga..." she said in teasing tone.

Haseena chuckled softly. "Kassh tum mil pati kabi Karishma say.....tab tmhen pata chalta she is Worth for everything."

"Pehle kaash ke tumhein mil jaaye, phir main bhi mil lun gi."

"Impossible. Humen wo kabi bi nahi milenge piya." Haseena's voice grew sad.

"Milenge milenge, kahin tou milen gay" Piya responded with unwavering optimism.

Haseena sighed, "Tum itni positive kaise ho sakti ho?"

" Asi situations ky liyya ak word hota ha......Hope, my dear." Piya answered gently.

"Hmmmm......"she could only say.

"Come on haseena......" piya shouted out in frustration to which she chuckled at her.

After talking to Piya, Haseena sat on her bed, tracing the edges of Karishma's picture with her finger. She felt the weight of the world on her shoulders, yet the sight of Karishma's smile gave her some peace
Holding the photo delicately, she lay down, gently placing it under her pillow. She closed her eyes feeling the familiar warmth in knowing Karishma's picture was close to her.

Morning.....

In the morning, Dai Jaan quietly entered Haseena's room, while muttering to herself. "Itni dare ho gaye abi tak kasy nae uthi."

"Haseena, beta, uth jao. Subah ho gayi hai." She gently called out.

Haseena murmured in a low voice, still half-asleep, "Dai Jaan, bas thodi der aur."

Concerned, Dai Jaan moved closer and placed her hand on Haseena's forehead. The warmth she felt immediately alarmed her. "Haseena, tumhe toh bukhar hai!"

Haseena slowly opened her eyes, her vision was blurry. "Dai Jaan, kuch thik nahi lag raha," she admitted, her voice weak.

Dai Jaan's worry deepened. "Beta, tumhe bukhar hai. Abhi rest karo. Hum doctor ko bula kar laati hoon." She adjusted Haseena's blanket and stroked her hair gently.

Haseena nodded slightly, too tired to protest. "Dai Jaan, bas thoda sa rest chahiye. Aap please itna pareshan mat ho."

"Aaj college tou nahi ja pao gi, Haseena." Dai Jaan shook her head as she gently said.
