“Don't worry Karishma, everything will be fine. It's just that some days are good some are bad?” haseena murmured softly.

Karishma turned in her arms, their eyes met she cupped her face gently and said, "Humen pata hai sab theek ho jayega, bas ab apko apna bohot khayal rakhna parega."

Haseena smiled tenderly, her hand brushing Karishma’s cheek. "Wo toh sab apki zimmedari hai," she replied, her tone teasing but loving.

Karishma’s lips curled into a soft smile, and she nodded. "Bilkul, ab hum rakhein ge. Aur first step abhi humein time say dinner karna hai."

"Abhi koun banayega? Hum order kar lete hain."

Karishma shook her head firmly, crossing her arms.
"No, ab se bahar ka kuch nahi. Hum ja rahe hain, Simran ne khana banaya hai, le kar aate hain."

As Karishma turned to leave, Haseena couldn’t help but asked, "Simran ko bata diya apne?"

Karishma turned back and said, "G, bilkul...."

Haseena nodded, with a faint smile and Karishma walked towards the door, while saying, "Bas abi aaty han...."

Around 9pm...

Karishma stood near the bed, arranging everything with care. She checked the water, ensured the medications were in place, then picked up her phone. "Hospital ka number speed dial par...," she murmured, programming it in.

"Sab done...." Finally, she sat down and let out a sigh, whispering to herself.

Just then, she heard the bathroom door open, and she looked up to see Haseena walking out. Karishma immediately stood up and said, “Aaiye.....” guiding her gently to the bed.

Once Haseena was seated, Karishma said, “Take off your shirt,” and opened the drawer to take out some ointment.

"Oh, really? Someone’s in a mood tonight." Haseena’s face lit up with a playful smile.

Karishma rolled her eyes, holding up the ointment. “Yeh.” She pointed to it. "Dakyay koi rashes han tou laga dayty han...."

"Oh...." She said with disappointment and than added, " koi nae han I just checked.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, yes, I'm sure," Haseena assured her.

"Ab ap aarm say late jayay...." Satisfied, Karishma helped her lie down and pulled the blanket over her.

Haseena looked up. "Aap bhi aaiye," she said, inviting Karishma under the blanket. Karishma nodded and slipped in, wrapping her arm around Haseena's waist and resting her head on her chest, while Haseena circled her arms around Karishma in return.

For a few moments, they lay quietly. Karishma’s mind was racing, debating if she should talk about the further treatment and surgery or not. She doesn't have the courage how to address the situation.

After a while, she broke the silence. “Haseena…”

“Hmmm?” Haseena murmured, her eyes closed.

Karishma hesitated, then softly said, “Light on kar lein?”

"Aapko dar lag raha hai kia?” Haseena looked down at her, sensing the hint of worry in her voice.

Karishma quickly responded, “Nahin… bas asy hi...”

But Haseena could sense her anxiety. Reaching over, Haseena turned the light on, then kissed her forehead gently.

Karishma nestled closer and said, “Haseena… aapko raat ko neend aati hai na? Matlab… hum toh so jaate hain, kabhi notice hi nahi kiya. Agar kabhi neend na aaye toh humein batayein. Hum aapke saath hain. Hum dono baatein kar sakte hain… haan… kuch bhi.”
