Chapter 9
The boys drove me to my house so I can change my clothes before going to the pool.
I don't know why they don't want to swim at their own pools. They said it would be more fun if there are other people; like hot girls. I will really laugh at them if the girls that they can spot there are old women, considering there's class today.
"What pet do you like?" Keith asked, out of blue. I chuckled at his randomness.
"Uh, dog." I replied. I really wanted a dog but my dad won't let me.
"What's your favorite color?" Kale joined.
"Red." I answered, thinking of the good and bad memories of that color.
"You're so cute when you do that." Kale cooed, pinching my cheeks.
I blushed a little when he said that. "Do what?" I slapped his hands away.
"Thinking. Those pouts and all." He smiled.
"Are you flirting with my girl?" Jace asked, faking anger.
I blushed more when he said 'my girl'.
"Yes. Why, so?" Kale smirked.
"Leave her alone." Jace replied jokingly.
I sighed mentally, I wish it was true. I should stop thinking about these stuffs. All I should do with him is play with him. Nothing more.
"We're here!" Charles chirped cheerily. We all hopped out of the car and brought our things.
The parking lot was a bit dirty but I gasped as I saw the sea.
The shores were pure white and clean. The waves are waving gracefully on the blue waters. It was amazing and breathtaking.
"That's why we brought you here." Charles smirked.
They're just too sweet. "Thank you guys. It's wonderful." I smiled gratefully.
"All for you Chelly-jelly." Kale winked.
So they lied when they said it's because of the girls.
"Do you know how to swim?" Keith asked as we walk towards the beach.
"Uhm, erm no." I replied, blushing. I'm a little bit afraid of seas and oceans. It's freaking big and deep. What if I'm drowning or something and no one heard me.
"You know what to do, boys." Jace smirked evilly.
I backed out slowly, nervous of what they would do.
Charles grabbed my arms while Keith carried my feet. I can see Jace taking out his phone and taking a video.
"Take me down, guys!" I protested. Now I'm in the air, carried by three guys.
"I swear, I'm gonna rip your heads off if you- Woah!" I screamed when they threw me in the water.
They threw me in the water!
"I haven't even changed my clothes yet!" I complained.
They all chuckled.
"Change in front of us." Jace smirked.
"What? No." I shook my head.
"If you're not a goody-goody, then change infront of us." He challenged.
I thought of it for a while. Well, there's no difference if they see me on my bikini anyway.
I pulled my shirt off, making Jace smirk more. And followed by my shorts.
Jace grinned deviously and took his shirt off too followed by the boys.
After a while, we're now splashing water at each other and laughing. It's so fun to be with them. I feel reckless and free.
Kale, Keith, and Charles left to grill the BBQs, leaving Jace and I.
"How many girls have you guys brought here?" I asked curiously.
"Only you." He smiled.
"I feel special." I grinned.
"You should be. This is our secret base." He replied.
"Why did you bring me here?" I asked again.
"They like you." He answered.
"Already?" I chuckled.
"Yes." He smiled. "I don't know why. They were really not this friendly around girls. They just flirt." He explained.
"Oh." I smiled.
The boys called our names, telling us that the barbecues are cooked.
We chatted while eating and went home after that. They dropped me by my house and I thanked them for the day.
I sighed as I collapse on my bed. I checked my phone and my eyes went wide when it has 32 messages that all came from Wendy.
She texted: 'Where the hell are you!?' and all the same stories.
There were also missed calls that mostly came from Wendy and... Raiden? I forgot about him! How selfish am I!
I called him back and waited for him to pick up.
"Chelsea." He said, sounding upset.
"I'm sorry Raiden, I forgot to check my phone. And I have something to tell you." I said. I don't want to wait him to come here and break up with him personally. They would say I'm cheating.
"W-what?" He asked nervously.
"You're cheating on me." I answered.
"B-believe me Chelsea. I don't love her! She forced me into this." He explained.
"It's okay Raiden." I smiled.
"It's okay?" He reassured.
"Yes, but I'm breaking up with you." I told him.
"Why?" He said, sounding worried and sad.
"I-I think I lost interest." I explained.
"What? Do you want me to go back there? It's okay if you want to." He said fastly.
"No, Raiden. It's fine. I love you but only as a friend. That's all I feel about you. I'm sorry." I sighed.
"I understand." He replied quietly.
"Best friends?" I asked. I still want him to be my best friend; he's a really good friend.
"Yes. Best friends." He replied. I can hear him smiling. "See you soon, Chelsea." He said as he hang up.
It felt like a boulder has just been lift off from my shoulder.
I opened my laptop and checked my emails but the doorbell rang.
Who could be visiting on this hour? Maybe it's dad? But he has a key.
I shrugged it off and opened the door. My heart was beating faster as I open it.
My face fell when I saw her.

A/N: So, that's it. Who could be the visitor? Wanna guess?
