FOURTH'S POV:-

The morning light filtered through my bedroom window, casting a soft glow across my room. I groaned, rolling over and pulling the covers over my head in a futile attempt to block out the sun. It had been another late night spent dissecting cartel movements, and I felt the exhaustion deep in my bones.

After a few more minutes of reluctant wakefulness, I finally dragged myself out of bed. The cool tiles under my feet were a shock, jolting me fully awake. I headed for the bathroom, determined to shake off the fatigue. As the hot water cascaded over me, I felt the tension in my muscles begin to ease, though the weight of our problems still lingered in the back of my mind.

I stood in front of the mirror buttoning up my shirt, I have a presentation today and had zero time to prep, with all these stuff going on I've had quite less time to focus on university works and assignments, quite a lot are piling up and if don't submit all of them by the beginning of the next month this will effect my grades, I don't really have to think about the presentation-

I can still nail it- I thought as I quickly styled my hair looking at the mirror, then grabbed my bag from the desk chair where I'd left it the night before. As I was about to head out the door-

Why's the bag so light?

This sudden realisation made me look around as I spotted my laptop on the left side bed table-

Right-

The Laptop

I quickly paced towards the table, grabbing and stuffing the laptop in my bag. I walked down the hallway, the mansion still quiet in the early morning hours. Reaching Ford's room, I barged in to find Ford rummaging through his drawer still in just his back pants-

"You're still not ready?," I said, as I threw myself onto his bed, It's fine I'll just style my hair again

"Dude-the fuck?!? I just tided the bed" he replied, glaring at me

I snorted. "You didn't. Miss Hannah or Miss Jennifer did."

Ford rolled his eyes as he closed the drawer and zipped his backpack up, "Whatever", he muttered under his breathe making me smirk as I closed my eyes, being in bed is soo fun

"Hurry up! Get your ass ready.", I shouted, eyes still closed relishing the comfort of the bed

"Shut up. I need my two minutes of morning peace.", Ford's irritated voice echoed a bit from his closet. Ford groaned but didn't argue further. as I opened my eyes too look at him moving around in a hurry

He grabbed a shirt from his closet and quickly pulled it on, buttoning it as he walked back towards his dresser. He ran a comb through his hair, giving it a quick, effortless style, then splashed some cologne on. His movements were swift and practiced, reflecting the efficiency we both had developed over time. Within a couple of minutes, he slung his backpack over his shoulder and turned to me with a smirk.

"Alright, I'm ready. Happy now?" he said, nudging me off the bed.

I rolled off the bed, stretching. "Finally. Let's go before we're late."

We made our way downstairs, the familiar routine of the morning unfolding around us. Miss Hannah greeted us with her usual warm smile, handing us each a cup of coffee.

"Good morning, young masters. Ready for another day?" she asked.

"Morning, Miss Hannah," I said, taking the coffee gratefully. "As ready as we'll ever be."

Ford nodded in agreement. "Thanks, Miss Hannah."

The drive to the university was uneventful, the usual chatter and noise of Bangkok providing a familiar backdrop to our thoughts. Classes went by in a blur, my mind constantly drifting back to the cartel and the bunch of other things that I need to take care of.
