GEMINI'S POV:-
"What?", I wasn't quite ready for that sudden statement.
Follow Fourth?
What?
"NO TIME TO EXPLAIN GEMINI PLEASE JUST FOLLOW FOURTH IMMEDIATELY?!?" Ford's voice was firm and loud, leaving no room for argument. Ford hanged up immediately and within the next second I received a notification with Fourth's live location.
I have never been his confused
My mind seemed to be completely blocked for a second but my body wasn't. Without wasting another moment, I felt my legs completely dragging me towards the direction where I had just parked my car.
I rushed to my car and sped off, following the route displayed on my phone. The sense of urgency in Ford's voice echoed in my mind, fueling my sudden determination to reach out to the current location, I glanced at the screen as Fourth's location kept on shifting.
He is in some fast transport, probably a car
The city blurred past as I navigated through the traffic, my heart pounding with a mix of worry and adrenaline. The call from Ford had thrown me into a whirlwind of confusion and urgency. That frantic voice of Ford kept up echoing in my mind
"I need you to immediately follow Fourth, Right now. I'm sending you his live location."
I barely had time to process what was happening before Ford hung up. My mind was already racing. What on earth could be so urgent that Ford needed me to chase down Fourth? I glanced at the phone, the map showing Fourth's location moving steadily away from me. Panic surged through me, and I slammed my foot on the gas pedal.
The engine roared, and the car surged forward, cutting through the Bangkok traffic with reckless speed. The streets were a blur, the usual chaos of the city now a maze of obstacles that seemed determined to slow me down. I wove through the lanes, my hands gripping the wheel tightly, knuckles white with tension.
"Why the hell is Ford so worked up?" I muttered, eyes darting between the road and the phone's map. The distance between me and Fourth was growing, and every second felt like a crushing weight on my chest. My heart pounded in my ears, matching the thundering rhythm of the engine. The city lights streaked by, merging into a continuous line of color.
I kept on looking at my watch. Time seemed to also be running as fast as possible, it felt as if time was draining out. The pointer on the screen showed Fourth's live location, its was changing co-ordinates with high speed
Where the hell is he going?!
And why the fuck is he in such a hurry?
My thoughts were a jumbled mess, struggling to keep up with the speed of the car and the growing urgency of the situation. I couldn't shake the gnawing worry that something was terribly wrong.
Traffic lights seemed to conspire against me, turning red at the worst possible moments. I cursed under my breath, the frustration adding to the adrenaline already coursing through me. I pushed the car harder, the tires screeching as I took corners sharply, navigating through the crowded streets.
Following Fourth had covered me some forty minutes now. The roar of the engine was deafening, a relentless reminder of how far I had pushed the car. The world outside was a dizzying blur, and every turn felt like a desperate gamble. I pulled up the speed of my car as much as possible to close up on Fourth, but the gap was still very significant. The streets have now started to feel a bit deserted, I have come a long way from the center of the city.
