"Your life seems like a fun movie bro", Mark's voice brought Gemini back from his deep trance as he looked around for a second. They were still stuck in the traffic, it's been some 10 minutes now. Gemini rubbed his face quickly, he instinctively pushed back the bangs on his forehead as they again curtained his forehead the next moment.
"Did you hear me?", Mark asked him, squinting his eyes.
"I don't need to.", Gemini simply replied as he turned his wrist to glance at his watch-7:40pm
Gemini could feel Mark glare at him, but Gemini ignored him looking forward, wishing the traffic jam gets cleared so he can reach back quickly.
"I said your life seems like a real fun movie bro", Mark again repeated his words
"Where are you seeing the fun?", Gemini said as laid back on the seat
"You had a fun adventure day out with that Jirochtikul heir of yours"
Gemini simply looked at Mark with pure disbelieve in his eyes, "I saw two people dying, not any two people but his own damn parents.", Gemini scoffed
"You have seen many more people dying", Mark said as he shrugged his shoulders, but as soon as he could feel the intense cold glare from Gemini he instinctively blurted out a sorry.
The signal got cleared as Gemini again took charge of the steering wheel, taking the next right turn, he drove through the night streets of Bangkok.
"Soo...How is your...friend....boy....boss-the fuck, why is this so complicated....okay-how is your Jirochtikul heir doing?", Mark said as looked over at Gemini
"Why are you soo stupid Mark?"
"In born talent Gemini"
Gemini simply rolled his eyes as he focused back on driving. "So how is he?", Mark repeated the same question.
"I don't know", Gemini answered in a low tone
"Don't know? Huh? What do you mean you don't know? You legit took him to all the way to that hospital and you don't know?"
"I haven't seen him since then", Gemini said, eyes still focused on the road, "I just know he's going to step up as the leader"
"Leader? What? Isn't he like....a kid?"
"He's the only heir", Gemini stated
"How do you know this?", Mark said as he again squinted his eyes in suspicion, "You said you haven't seen him"
"I haven't, I heard Mr. Asawasuebsakul taking to someone after I went back to the estate that day"
"You think he'll choose you as his underboss?", Mark's question was unanswered because the question seemed to not reach Gemini
"Gemini", Mark called out again
"What?", Gemini said
"I....I don't think you should be continuing this.", this sudden statement from Mark made Gemini turn towards him, his eyebrows furrowed
"What?", Gemini asked
"This....It's kind of dangerous Gemini", Mark's voice sounded a bit serious
"Weren't you the one who was convincing me to take the offer?", Gemini asked, he didn't expect Mark to suddenly point out something like this
"Yeah...but-you know....You've just been working there for only two months and your boss and his wife are already killed-",
Gemini kept quite for a second, he did not know what to answer to that.
