AUTHOR'S POV:-

(Few months later)

The man beside the desk stood straight, his grip on the file in his hand steady and his expression composed but slightly tense.

"Sir, I believe the original was last reviewed over three to four years ago—I'm not quite sure where it is," he said, voice firm but careful as he recalled any details about the elusive document.

Fourth halted for a moment, exhaling slowly before he nodded. "Alright," he replied with a slight shrug, setting the copy aside and taking the next file from the man's hand. "Thank you for the help," he said, a small nod of acknowledgment. "I'll track down the original myself."

As he flipped open the copy, the faded text and yellowing paper made it clear this wasn't the file he was after. This was just a backup—the "Phoenix Holdings Partnership Agreement"—detailing assets, initial contributions, and family investments dating back decades.

Fourth's gaze sharpened as he recognized the signatures of the original members, including his grandfather's, lined up at the bottom of the document. It was filled with small annotations, additions from years of adjustments and transactions.

But this wasn't the original one, he knew the original was somewhere else- But where? It should be containing even more sensitive notes and untouched clauses that hadn't been added to this copy. If there were secrets or subtle changes, they'd be in that original.

It might not be very important but Fourth was trying to find it for a few days now.

Fourth turned the pages slowly, scanning through the contents, when the door creaked open, pulling his attention away. He looked up, eyebrows slightly raised, and his expression softened as he saw Gemini casually stepping in. In that moment, Fourth's gaze fell onto Gemini's hand, where a big white bag dangled, emblazoned with "The Velvet Delights" in bold, fancy cursive.

His heart raced.

Shaking off his distraction, Fourth forced himself to focus back on the file. He needed to wrap this up ASAP

His doughnuts are here-

He flipped through the last three pages with urgency, feeling a blend of professional determination and childlike excitement bubbling within him.

As he closed the file and handed it back to the man in the room, he could barely contain his anticipation. "This isn't related; it's okay, I'll try to find it myself," he said in a firm, professional tone. The man looked momentarily taken aback, glancing between Fourth and Gemini, but nodded and took his leave, bowing slightly.

The instant the door clicked shut, Fourth's demeanor shifted dramatically. All traces of professionalism evaporated as he turned back to Gemini, voice softening to a pleading tone. "Gimme," he urged, pouting slightly and extending both hands toward the bag, eyes sparkling with eagerness.

Gemini chuckled heartily at Fourth's cute display, a grin spreading across his face. He had driven over two hours for this moment, and the sight of Fourth's playful antics felt like a reward in itself.

But instead of handing over the precious cargo, Gemini merely turned, sauntering over to the huge sofa on the opposite side of the office and settling in comfortably. Fourth frowned, his expression shifting to one of playful frustration as he squinted at Gemini.

"Get your pretty ass over here and get them," Gemini teased, his lips curling into a half-smile.

Unable to resist, Fourth shot up from behind his massive mahogany desk, the urgency of his hunger driving him forward. He crossed the room with purpose, drawn to the white bag resting enticingly on the center table, the promise of sweet indulgence propelling him as he approached the sofa where Gemini sat, ready to reclaim his long-awaited doughnuts.
