FOURTH'S POV:-
I somehow forced my blank mind to help me to blink my blank eyes a few times rapidly. The sight was so surreal, I could only stare blankly at the kid.
There is a kid.
Right in my room.
He couldn't have been more than ten years old, his small frame holding the large weapon, he held it with unsteady hands but with a strong grip. His eyes were wide with determination, and maybe a bit of fear too.
"Who the hell are you?" I managed to ask, my voice coming out more steady than I felt.
The child didn't answer, his grip tightening on the gun. He looked extremely determined, but there was a flicker of defiance in his eyes. I needed to defuse this situation, and that too fucking fast.
HOW THE FUCK IS THERE A KID IN MY DAMN ROOM HOLDING A GUN AT ME?!?
WHAT KIND OF AN ENEMY STRATERGY IS THIS?!?
The kid didn't seem to say anything as he held the gun more tightly, his confidence made me sure of the fact that probably he knows how to use that thing. The kid was quite far away from me so taking a random step trying to leap at him would be stupid.
And that's when it hit me among all the random possibilities running through my mind-
The window
Did he open it?
The fuck-did he practically climb up?!?
My trance broke as the kid spoke for the first time, and what he said made me more fucking confused.
"Gemini", he said, his voice a firm whisper, "Is Gemini here?"
Gemini?
This kid wants to kill Gemini or what?
At this point I really wanted to drag Gemini's ass and beat the hell out of him, this guy-THIS DAMN GUY ALWAYS HAS THE WORST THINGS HAPPENING AROUND.
"I-I don't want to hold this gun at you, Can you please call Gemini?", the kid's voice was stern yet sounded small
"Hey, it's okay," I said, raising my hands slowly to show I meant no harm. "I'm not going to hurt you. Just put the gun down, and we can talk."
"Is Gemini-"
"He is, He is here.", I cut the kid's sentence midway trying to assure him, I made my tone as soft as possible.
"C-call h-him.", the kid said
I was extremely confused but realized this kid had no malevolent intentions. For some reason, he just wanted Gemini. Maybe Gemini could diffuse this situation.
I moved slowly towards the bed, keeping my movements deliberate and non-threatening. I reached for my phone and immediately dialed Gemini's number. He picked up on the second ring, his voice sounded deep
"Miss me already or what?" he quipped.
Ignoring his snarky tone, I cut straight to the point. "Get to my room. Now."
"What?"
"My room. Now!", I tried to sound as serious and authoritative as much as possible.
I hung up and looked at the kid, trying to offer a reassuring smile. "Gemini's on his way. Can you put the gun down now?"
The kid's grip on the gun loosened slightly, but he didn't lower it completely. His eyes were still wary, darting around the room as if expecting an ambush.
