The glass made a cling sound as it was slided over the smooth marble surface of the round island table towards the man who was just about to take a seat by the bar. The golden liquid in the glass swirled and swayed as the glass reached the man who had just taken the seat. The man looked up to catch a hold of the glass-
"You're late you know, whatever, chug this up, so you tone down your stoic, indifferent attitude before you even start it"-the young man, with slight curls in his hair, who had just slid the glass, stated the obvious
The taller who had held the glass at the right time while grabbing his seat, rolled his eyes before pouring the golden liquid in this mouth in one go. He kept the glass on the table surface with prominent force making another cling sound as he pushed his bangs intuitionally backwards as they again beautifully curtained his forehead in the next second.
"So?", the man with the slight curls said as he sipped his glass of whiskey, "what's bothe-no-wait-let me ask you what is not bothering you?"
"Do you ever wake up and decide not to be an ass for one day, Pakin?"
"Oh first name, I see, So my effort was a waste", the man with the slight curls said, "-that ready made glass didn't quite work in toning down your attitude"
"Shut up Mark", the taller again randomly pushed his bangs back as he ordered the bartender for another glass-
Mark was about to say something else to annoy his friend a bit more, but instantly looked to his left as he felt a slight touch on his wrist
"Why didn't you tell me you're coming?", voice very shrill and low
Mark could see Lenae tugging on to his left arm, She was about to say something more when she spotted the person sitting beside Mark,
"Oh My God, I just got lucky today didn't I?", her voice sounded really shrill, she clapped her hands as she moved to the next person, gripping his jacket Lenae tried to get his attention, "Come on baby, don't wanna have some fun?", Lenae brought her face close to his ears trying to slip her hands into the black leather-
"Come on...Gem, You can't-"
"Don't call me that again", the man stated in a stern tone
"What? Gem? I can't call you that? Come on you surely love it when I call you that", Lenae kept on whining totally confident that no one can say no to her charms, Lenae is aware trying to woe this guy isn't easy, but nothing is difficult with her charms,
Lenae's face suddenly lit up as he turned to face her, his large hand gripping her small wrist of the hand that was trying to sneak into his jacket,
"It's just Gemini, "Gem" is not for you", his grip suddenly tightened "And keep your fake nails away from me", Gemini said as he hastily jerked her hand off
Lenae's face was filled with disappointment, she has lost her mood completely as she stomped her feet, walking off, her heels resonating her furious mood
"What's up with you dude?", Mark looked at Gemini with curious eyes,
"Nothing.", a plain response
"Lenae surely wanted some good action"
"I didn't"
"Why?", Mark poured the last of the liquid into his mouth, "you always have someone or the other throwing themselves at you and you rarely refuse these chances of yours to relieve your stress",
"I'm not in the mood"
"WHAT?!?! GEMINI NORAWIT IS NOT IN MOOD!?!? DO YOU EVEN HEAR YOURS-"
"Shut up Mark", Gemini seemed clearly annoyed, as he gave Mark a disapproving look, making Mark burst into laughter
