It was late, well past midnight, and the city's usual hustle had given way to a quieter, more mysterious ambiance. Gemini sped through the dimly lit streets of Bangkok on his bike, the cold night air biting at his skin. The city, usually bustling, was now eerily quiet, save for the distant hum of traffic.
Neon signs flickered, casting ghostly glows on the deserted roads. The wind whipped through his hair, carrying the scent of street food and exhaust. Despite the chill, he felt alive, adrenaline pumping with every twist and turn. The empty streets were his playground, offering a brief respite from the day's turmoil. In those fleeting moments, the city was his, and he savored the solitude.
His mind raced through the very unexpected eventful evening he had. Just like Fourth, Gemini never never expected to find that same feisty guy, that he met in the alley that day, in Mr. Jirochtikul's office today. This has to be the most unexpected coincidence ever. That was him, The Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul. His mind immediately focused back on the intense encounter he had with Fourth in his room, that guy really pointed a dagger at this neck throughout the time.
The rhythmic hum of the engine was a stark contrast to the chaotic scenes etched in his memory. He recalled the sharp glint of the blade under harsh fluorescent lights, the tense standoff, and the look of betrayal in Fourth's eyes.
Suddenly a foreign feeling crept into his him, He remembered the uncanny thing that washed over him when that guy, Fourth, was so close. It wasn't just the proximity; it was the intensity, the raw emotion that crackled between them.
In the heat of the moment, driven by an impulse he didn't fully understand why he had pulled Fourth towards him. The surprise in Fourth's eyes, the brief flicker of something unspoken, lingered in Gemini's mind.
Fuck it, Gemini thought, He's doesn't have time to waste in overthinking. He has accepted the offer, now he needs to invest his time in working, That's it.
But for sure he has irritated Fourth, annoyed him and that somehow satisfied him in a weird way. He doesn't have any beef with Fourth, but somehow seeing him a bit annoyed was....fun. Gemini's lips curved into a slight smirk as he thought about how he enjoyed annoying Fourth.
There was something almost intoxicating about pushing his buttons, seeing the fiery reaction it elicited. It was a strange dynamic-one that both frustrated and fascinated him.
Gemini immediately shook his head as he realised what he was thinking- What the hell? What nonsense is he brewing in his top floor? This evening has probably just taken a toll on him.
Though lost in his thoughts Gemini's trance immediately broke when he could feel his phone vibrating in the right pocket's of his denims, Gemini passed the crossing in front as he parked his bike on the side of the road, tossing his phone out of his pocket.
Of course, who else can it be - Gemini thought as received the call, pressing the phone to his right ear
"Are you dead?", the voice from the phone immediately said the moment the call was received
"I'm talking to you Mark", Gemini rolled his eyes, his tone really casual
"Then why the fuck do I have no reply to the texts I have send you?", Mark sounded offended
"I was busy", Gemini said causally as he looked around the almost deserted lane
"Doing what?",
"Accepting the offer",
"Wait What? You accepted it?", Mark was taken aback for a second.
"Yes, took your advise", Gemini said
