—MIYA OSAMU aimed and timed it right, leaping into the air and striking seriously, the volleyball swiftly breaking through the air, escaping its constraints. Just as it was about to soar, he didn't notice that in front of him, while he was jumping, a deep gaze was fixed on his movements—

It was Tendou.

He bent slightly, his eyes rolled upwards, pupils shrinking, staring intently at the tall young man jumping high, with only the volleyball in his eyes, his gaze gloomy.

Though Tendou saw Osamu jumping, time seemed to freeze at that moment—

Through the high-jumping Osamu, Tendou's vision quickly blurred, he seemed to see a young man with navy blue hair standing there, standing on Shiratorizawa's training ground—

Kobayashi Aotori stood vividly on the training ground, facing Tendou in a blocking and spiking duel. The result was predictable, Tendou lost more than he won, looking at the lightly landing Kobayashi Aotori with a look of pretended resentment, and said in a pretentious manner:

"Ara~ Aotori-chan really doesn't give face to the seniors at all—"

Kobayashi Aotori still found Tendou's feigned whining hard to accept, his face, usually aggressive on the court, was now wrinkled in complete denial, turning his head away.

However, without a doubt, during the repeated training sessions, Tendou's movements subtly changed—every inspiration amidst the sweat was worth cherishing, and every touch and collision gave Tendou a brand-new experience.

He didn't know that as a teammate, he wasn't the first to experience the magical breakthrough sensation brought by practicing with Kobayashi Aotori.

Several people far away in Tokyo and some in Karasuno also showed deeply hidden smiles.

—THE SCENE SHIFTED, in Shiratorizawa's training ground, Kobayashi Aotori easily blocked Goshiki's powerful hit, and to Goshiki's frustrated reaction, he just showed his usual relaxed smile, casually picking up the fallen volleyball, walking to Goshiki's side, calmly said:

"Goshiki, you were too impatient."

He patted the volleyball in his arms on the ground, making a crisp sound, his hazel eyes flashing with ease, he chuckled, suddenly lifting his head and using his chin to point at Tendou on the other side, who was watching the scene. Under Tendou's slight daze, he said to Goshiki with a light laugh:

"If it were Tendou..."

When Aotori said this, the light in his eyes was reflected by the sunlight through the window, flowing along with his words into Tendou's ears:

"I'm afraid he would have blocked it even more easily."

—STANDING on the court, Tendou stared intently at Osamu's seemingly slowed-down movements, with Aotori's nonchalant voice echoing in his ears.
