TOKYO METROPOLITAN GYMNASIUM

Inside the Venue

The stands gradually were filled with people, everyone whispering about the protagonists of this match. However, in the next moment, the originally noisy venue suddenly went silent, then erupted in waves of exclamations:

"Have they arrived! The entire Shiratorizawa team?"

"...Damn! These guys are too imposing!"

"Wow, wow! I'm already getting nervous!!"

Not far away, Inarizaki, who was discussing tactics, also stopped, turning around in unison to look towards the entrance on the opposite side—

A group of tall young men with varied appearances walked in, led by Tendou Satori, who walked with his hands behind his head, lazily looking around with his big eyes in curiosity. His strange gaze swept over the people present, his rabbit-like mouth opening and closing as if speaking to someone beside him. The people behind him walked into the court in an orderly yet relaxed manner. Goshiki Tsutomu, with his bob haircut, had a serious expression, while Ohira Reon beside him looked straight ahead.

On the right side of the group, two people stood out, their presence so strong that no one could help but focus on them—

Ushijima Wakatoshi's tall and muscular build exuded a direct sense of oppression, his expressionless face commanding authority without anger. Beside him, Kobayashi Aotori appeared more relaxed, one hand in his pocket, always wearing a habitual, faint smile. However, his hazel eyes were always slightly narrowed, the smile never reaching his eyes.

Seeing these familiar faces, Kita Shinsuke's expression remained calm, though his hand at his side clenched slightly.

On the other side, Suna Rintarou clearly felt his teammates immediately becoming highly alert as soon as Shiratorizawa entered, their previously relaxed bodies suddenly tensing up.

He felt a little emotional inside but didn't show it, his narrow eyes staring across at the opposing side, looking thoughtful.

The people on the other side were relatively more relaxed—

"Ah, Aotori-chan! It's your first time at Spring High, how do you feel? Hey, hey, are you nervous?" Tendou Satori's unique voice sounded in Kobayashi Aotori's ear. Aotori glanced sideways, thought for a moment, and earnestly replied:

"I don't feel much. If I had to say, I might be a little nervous."

Although this slight nervousness would disappear without a trace once he was fully immersed in the game.

Shirabu Kenjirou on the other side glanced at him, seemingly surprised that Aotori would say "a little nervous," but when he saw his calm face, his expression turned serene again.
