SEEING KOBAYASHI AOTORI'S visible discontent and indignation, Akaashi Keiji sighed lightly, then spoke loudly:

"Bokuto-senpai! Didn't you say that when Aotori-kun arrives, you'd let him take a good look at Fukurodani's strength properly?"

Bokuto paused in his tracks, turning his head in confusion: "Did I say that?"

"Yes, you did, Bokuto-senpai." After saying this, Akaashi turned to Konoha and the others beside him. They immediately understood what he meant and echoed:

"You did say it!"

"Yeah! Bokuto even said he'd show Aotori-san a good time!"

"Bokuto-senpai is so amazing, being the ace, so this kind of thing is certain!"

So, in Kobayashi Aotori's eyes, Bokuto's initially puzzled expression quickly changed, and he instantly became elated, hands on his hips, laughing confidently:

"Hahahaha! Of course!"

Then, looking down at Kobayashi Aotori who was sitting, Bokuto laughed twice:

"Get ready to fully appreciate Fukurodani's strength!"

Kobayashi Aotori blinked, then quickly nodded, "Sure, sure, good, good, you go ahead, I'll be watching."

Hearing Kobayashi Aotori's rapid-fire "rap," Bokuto intuitively understood most of his meaning, excitedly shouting "Hey!" before striding back onto the volleyball court with his head held high.

—AND NOW, Kobayashi Aotori was more exhausted than during a match.

After all, during a match, there were teammates, providing some buffer, so he didn't have to maintain such high intensity all the time.

But playing with Bokuto was different; the guy was like he'd been injected with chicken blood, and for some reason, he didn't seem to have emo mode in front of him. After nearly an hour of not receiving a single ball, he actually started getting more excited.

T.N.: 打了鸡血 (dǎ le jī xuè): The phrase "injected with chicken blood" is used to describe someone who is unusually energetic or enthusiastic, often to an extreme degree. This idiom originates from a historical practice in China where people believed that injecting chicken blood could boost energy and vitality.

Kobayashi Aotori slumped like a deflated balloon.

...At least he saw Fukurodani's practice in person. Although the sacrifice was a bit much, fortunately, there wasn't much skill to analyze.

Little did he know, after he left, Fukurodani's volleyball team held a meeting specifically to discuss his serves that afternoon.
