7: Little White Lies

Mingi was acting very strange for the rest of the day. They already met up with Seonghwa and Hongjoong at the restaurant. While they were eating with the others, Yunho couldn't help but notice the stares Mingi was giving to both of their younger siblings.

It was like after they caught them secretly dating, something in the younger changed. His mood had shifted, as if he was against their relationship. Yunho wanted to understand what was going on with him.

"What's that smell?" Minji mumbles, covering her nose who was sitting at the other side of Mingi.

"That's my perfume." Mingi calmly replies, drinking his beer.

"Since when did you change your perfume? God this smells so awful." she says in disgust, obviously not liking the way it smelled.

He frowned, "What do you mean? I haven't changed it, this used to be your favorite."

Minji let out small noises of disgust, before anyone could question her behaviour, she stormed off to the bathroom. The other couple eyed her as she left. Seemingly worried for her.

"Is she alright?" Seonghwa asked concerned.

Mingi shrugged with a stern look on his face, "I'll check on her." he stood up as well without another word, following his sister to the bathroom.

"What's going on kiddo?" Hongjoong quietly asked.

"Is everything okay with them? They seem a little off." Wooyoung mentions.

Yunho didn't know what to say. He awkwardly glanced at the others, "I-I don't know-"

Gunho abruptly sat up from his seat, "I have to go.."

"Where are you going?" Yunho looks at him weirdly.

"Mrs. Kate called, she said she needed help. I'll see you guys around- thank you for inviting me, happy birthday again PJ."

"Atleast wait a little so we could drop you both off-" Yunho stood up as well but was cut off.

"No it's fine, I'll just take the bus." he quickly made to leave.

Yunho was dumbfounded, "Gunho?" he calls after him but the younger didn't even look behind.

"What's happening?" San mumbles.

He looked to the direction of the bathroom, the siblings haven't left yet. "I'll be right back, please watch the kids for me." Yunho sprinted to the bathroom.

From the distance he could see the door opening with Minji running out of it.

"Minji what's wrong?" Yunho tried to stop her but she completely walked past him. Going to the table to take her stuff and leave the restaurant, just like Gunho did.

Yunho continued to walk to search for Mingi, he needed answers. There he found him. Leaning by the bathroom sink, "Mingi what's going on? What happened?"

The younger glanced at Yunho who let himself inside, approaching him to hold his face in his large hands. Mingi looked drained.

"Baby are you okay?" the older whispers softly.

"There's something they aren't telling us."

"What do you mean she was throwing up?" Yunho shouted after Mingi as they walked through the front door fo their house. He sat Sam in his play corner as he confronted Mingi who was in the kitchen with Sofia.
