10: A Little Reunion

Another day of finished work. The couple brought the kids to the office after having to reschedule yet again another meeting. Seonghwa would come by any minute now to pick up Mingi since Yunho decided he will visit Gunho today using their car. He had to talk to him somehow. And he took that chance today. A special day.

Yunho was currently on the phone with Minji;

"Please don't tell him yet.." she says on the other line.

"What if he asks me about you? Should I just straight up lie to his face?"

"I'll tell him soon." she says, "Yunho please promise me that you won't bring it up. I want to be the one to tell him.."

Yunho sighs, "Alright, you have my word."

"Thank you." she hung up after a while.

"Why do you look so different here?" Sofia who was sitting on Mingi's lap, pointed towards the small picture frame of him and Yunho on his desk.

"Oh.. I can't remember." Mingi replied. Yunho liked that of him, how he says "I can't remember" instead of "I don't know".

Sitting on the comfortable couch while feeding Sam in his arms, he knew what picture she was talking about. "That's because we were still in High School in that photo." he smiled at her.

"Oh!" she squealed.

Mingi smiled as well, proceeding to admire the picture. Fuck these thoughts. It had Yunho blushing how the other stared at it with adoration in his eyes. He shakes the thought off and continued to feed the baby in his arms.

Just then Seonghwa stormed inside the office without even knocking, "Sorry I'm late, Wooyoung was distracting me with his stupid ass again." he panted.

The younger stood up from his chair, effortlessly lifting Sofia in the air and making her sit on his shoulders. "Well we're ready to go." he raised her arms high.

Yunho stood up as well, Sam was holding his half drunken bottle of milk. Feeling full already so he puts it aside. Mingi hands him the keys to their car so he could drive ahead but they all left the building before seperating ways in the parking lot.

As Yunho was walking to the car with Sam in his arms, Mingi shortly followed behind him without taking notice. "Yunho-yah.." he called.

He flinched before turning around to face him, "God, never scare me like that ever again.." he clutched his own shirt, feeling his heart slam against his chest rapidly.

Mingi chuckled, "Sorry." he took a step closer and cupping his face gently. Yunho was caught off guard but was blushing hard while Mingi was staring at him deeply, lips pressing to a thin line. "Drive safely.."

Before he could get a word out, Mingi gave him a short passionate kiss. Yunho was shocked at first but responded, it only lasted a few moments before they slowly pulled away.

"I love you.." Yunho whispered.

Mingi was taken aback at that.

The older seemed to realize what he just said. Did he say it too early? He swears he didn't mean to say it out loud.

"I-I'm sorry, it's just I got carried away and I didn't mean to make you uncomfort-" he was cut off with another kiss on his bottom lip.

"It's okay, I understand." he reassuringly smiled but he wasn't that convinced.
