9: Don't Forget To Remember Me

"My birthday is on March 23rd, we met in our freshman year in Mr. Young's class - in which he also attended our wedding. These are some clips from our wedding day and other times we filmed together-"

Yup, the next few days went like this. After Mingi got discharged from the hospital, Yunho knew he couldn't just stand and look handsome there. He needed his husband to regain his memories so they could happily continue on with their lives.

It was morning and Yeosang and Jongho were left in their house, babysitting the kids while they were at the company, waiting for Minji to come by so they could drive her for the check up. They had lost contact with Gunho for a while, or more like Gunho wasn't responding to any of their messages or calls.

"Golden retriever energy, loves spiderman and is too shy to accept even the simpliest gifts from someone. I remember." Mingi smiles, cutting him off.

Yunho would be lying if he said his heart didn't flutter, "Yeah, I'm suprised you catched up." he proceeds to hit the keyboard so the laptop on Mingi's lap could play the footage of their moments together.

A frown appeared on his face when Mingi paused the video, "You know, I'm starting to like you. Yes I know you've said many times that we're already married but since I lost my memories and technically can't remember anything about you, it feels like I'm falling for you again for the first time. I know this might sound strange to you but that's how I feel right now. How you're willing to help me remember, always being patient with me, you're always ready to be there and answer each one of my questions about our relationship. You're so caring and gentle, I can see why I fell and married you."

He proceeded to click the video to play after he just casually confessed that to him. Yunho's heart was racing in a good way. Hearing that Mingi was gaining feelings for him was calming him down.

They stayed silent. Both of them sitting next to each other on the couch in his office as they watched the weddings clips together, smiling to themselves like idiots. Atleast he knew he was slowly getting him back.

It was so awkward when Mingi first got back home. The distance between them when they used to sleep was ridiculous. But ofcourse Yunho understood that. Imagine waking up after losing your memory about your spouse and suddenly a person claims to be your husband and you end up so socially distant and awkward with each other like you just met. It was like that at first, but with the other's help - especially Minji's, Mingi was able to warm up to him and let Yunho ramble about everything they've done together.

Mingi found him very amusing.

A loud knock suddenly interrupts them. Seonghwa was the one opening it as he steps aside for Minji to enter.

"Are we ready to go?" Yunho asks, looking at her.

Minji hesitantly nodded.

Mingi paused the video, "You okay?"

"Just nervous.." she admitted, chuckling lightly.

"Don't worry, you'll be alright." Seonghwa reassured her.

"It's quite difficult for me to find the baby since she is infact having a cryptic pregnancy, but because she is only a few months away from giving birth - it should show up when I move down here.." the woman who was giving Minji an ultrasound explained.

"Can you tell how long she's been pregnant for? She said she can't remember and the symptoms only started showing recently." Mingi asks, biting his nails in anxiousness.
