Yunho

He was woken up with a loud thud coming from their front door. The male hadn't realized he fell asleep on the couch while watching a spiderman movie. When his head turned to the side, he sees a drunk Mingi walking through the door while groaning trying to take his shoes off.

"I thought I said don't wait for me?" Mingi slurred his words, stumbling his way past him.

"I wasn't, I fell asleep watching a movie." Yunho simply replied, yawning right after. There was no way he was sleeping in their bedroom tonight. He'd rather bundle himself up on the sofa by himself if the old Mingi can't cuddle him to sleep.

"Don't lie to my face, you were clearly waiting for me."

"Stop it and just go to bed already, I'm not in the mood to argue with you." he dismissively stated, "I'm tired than I already am.."

Yunho covers himself with the fluffy blanket, sinking right back in to couch. Puffing the air out of his cheeks as he tries his best not to cry about their whole situation going downhill. God he hopes Sunday morning would arrive faster so he had the kids for comfort.

"I'm not a big fan of your tone." Mingi drawled.

"Mingi please, leave me alone and go to sleep for god's sake!" he slightly raised his voice.

"Jeez, you're overreacting." he snorted.

Oh how Yunho's heart clenched with pain. Not Mingi himself would straight up say it to his face, no this was not Mingi. He's a different person from the love of his life that he once knew. Does this mean he never existed?

He had lost hope to safe their situation, it was just getting too much to handle. Yunho wanted it to stop. He can't bear live with someone who doesn't even acknowledge him enough like Mingi used to. He missed him so fucking much. Why can't he just come back?

Things would've been so much better if he hadn't gotten in to that car accident. If he never lost his memory. Everything would be perfect and they could happily go on with their life but no. The universe decided to be cruel to him for the second time.

Yunho lost him before they could graduate high school and he was lucky enough to have him back after five years. Now two years later, they decided it was the perfect time to fully erase any existing memory of Yunho from his beloved husband. How sweet and considerate of the universe.

He just wanted to get far away from him. His prescence was there and all but his memories weren't. Yunho can't live like this. He wanted to leave, now that the marriage was going downhill anyway, there was no point in saving it. If he only knew other relatives where he could be welcomed in. Or his parents, he wished they were still alive.

Yunho blames hismelf for their death. He forced his Father to skip work just so he could attend his graduating with his Mother and Gunho. If he didn't force him, they would probably still be alive to this day. Sometimes he wished it was him who died and not his parents. He had attempted it in the past but of course was unsuccessful because he remembered his younger brother that time. Gunho was the only one keeping him alive and he doesn't even know it.

Now he had more reasons to stay alive but no reason to stay with the body of his once loved one who was completely brainwashed in that accident.

The faint footsteps walking up the stairs had pushed all of his negative thoughts to the back of his head as a door was slammed shut from upstairs. A heavy tear crawled down Yunho's face as he stood up. He walks to Mingi's office to open the door.

He immediately notices the large canvas in the corner of the room, covered with a large piece of cloth. Yunho didn't even knew Mingi was in to painting on canvas lately, must've been the reason why he catches him in the middle of the night going back and forth from their bedroom to his office.
