Yunho

It was the next morning. Mingi and Yunho were anxiously waiting outside the delivery room the entire night. Awkwardness distancing the both of them along with Sofia sleeping with her head on Mingi's lap while Sam was playing with the collar of his shirt. Neither of them had slept and Seonghwa would come back in a few moments from his house.

None of them dared to talk. Yunho himself wasn't in the mood to talk about what happened last night. He might just end up crying forever if he could. But he felt numb and drained. Almost as if he can't cry anymore. It made him weak. And oh how he hated it.

"What should I do baby..?" he silently says, talking to Sam as he inched their faces together. Sam holding his tall nose and squeezing it lightly with a bright smile. Yunho helplessly cracked at a smile. He pulls the little one for a warm hug, "Please stop growing up so fast.." he sniffled. He feels his small arms around his neck, as if he knew what was going on and hugged him for comfort.

Mingi glanced at them with soft eyes. Watching how Yunho's tears fell as he closed his eyes, hugging the baby in his arms. It left a bitter taste on his tongue and decided to look away. He can't take back the words he said. The damage has already been done and he would make himself look stupid to ask for his forgiveness. He knows Yunho wouldn't forgive him for this. Matter of fact, he wasn't even the same Mingi that Yunho knows.

Mingi was confused, that's all he knew.

Their thoughts were pushed to the side when the Doctor finally exits the delivery room Minji was inside of. Seonghwa happened to arrive at the same time.

"How is she?" Minji carefully stood up, making sure he doesn't wake Sofia who was still sleeping on his thigh.

"Is she alright?" Yunho opens his eyes.

"Both the mother and baby made it, though we have to move the child to a special unit. She delivered the baby a week earlier and might have some health complications, so we want to keep an eye on that." the professional informs.

They sighed in relief but the fact that the baby's health was at risk was a little discomforting.

"Will they be fine?" Seonghwa stopped his tracks beside Mingi.

"Of course they will be, both of them might have to stay a while in the hospital before discharging them." the Doctor reassuringly smiled.

Mingi glanced at the door, "Can we see her?"

"Sure, they're just getting cleaned up."

When they entered the room, tears were already brought to their eyes. Minji sitting on the hospital bed, smiling widely down at the baby in her arms which was hers. Her and Gunho's child. Yunho almost had a break down with tears of joy just by looking at her state. He never saw her this happy even Mingi had to admit it.

Minji turned her head to the males who stopped in the middle of the room. Almost paralyzed, their hearts melting at the sight. "You're uncles and cousins are here.. do you want to meet them?" she softly whispers Mingi wanted to cry his heart out.

He was the first one to approach her, his eyes attempting to take a glance of the baby. His sister gave birth to a handsome baby boy, "He looks just like Gunho.. only the eyes.."

"He has my eyes, I know." Minji finished for him with a warm smile.

Sofia walked after him, curiously trying to take a look of her baby cousin as well. Minji lowered her arm for her to see. It went on like that for a while. No words exchanged, just small sobs and tears of joy.
