Hoseok steps inside Jungkook's room. A sense of relief washes over him upon seeing the younger regain consciousness.
Hoseok stops on his tracks, battling himself if he should approach the two males whose hands are entwined and smiling at each other. Is there something going on between these two? A week ago before the incident, Jungkook strongly opposed marrying anyone, did he change his mind? Hoseok pondered. He clears his throat, earning the attention of the pair. "Uh Tae, can I check on Jungkook to see if he's fully healed?" Hoseok asked in a shaky voice. Jungkook frowned at his hyung. He looks intimidated, more like wary of Taehyung. But why? Taehyung is the kindest omega in their pack. He can't even hurt a fly, that's what Jungkook thinks of the gentle omega. Only if he knew that Taehyung's wolf just unleashed her wrath in the clinic a while ago, he might change his opinion of the pretty male.
"Of course, Hoseok hyung." Taehyung smiled at him and let go of Jungkook's hand making the ravenette pout. Taehyung moves back his chair a little, allowing some space for Hoseok to check on Jungkook.
A few minutes later, Hoseok is done examining Jungkook. "I can't believe it. Your wounds are completely healed. How did it happen? Even the alphas in our pack can't heal this fast." Hoseok asked incredulously, turning his gaze at Taehyung.
Taehyung remains tight-lipped as he clasps his hands on his lap and looks anywhere but Hoseok. He doesn't want Jungkook to hear how he was healed. He will be more frustrated if he finds out that his dormant wolf is a true blood alpha-the reason why in a span of a few minutes that his wolf was awake, Jungkook was able to heal completely. He doesn't want him to know that his wolf is cursed, not yet. And especially, this isn't the right time for Jungkook to know who Luna really is and the power she possessed. She might scare him away because Jungkook doesn't remember her yet. It's better for him to think that Luna is just an ordinary omega wolf.
Taehyung darts his eyes around the room and sees the damage Luna's wrath has caused. He grimaces at the sight of shattered medicine bottles, scattered tools and broken cabinets. 'Can't blame me, that bitch was touching what's ours. You can't expect me to take it sitting down. She should thank me that I didn't turn her into a cockroach and squash her with my foot.' Luna shared her cruel thoughts through their link. Taehyung wants to roll his eyes at his bratty and possessive wolf.
Jungkook is also curious about what happened when he was unconscious. The gashes left by the two alphas' claws and fangs were really deep, so there's no way he could heal faster without his wolf. "Probably the moon goddess finally took pity on me, after making my life miserable by giving me a dormant wolf." Jungkook uttered, his tone laced with bitterness.
Jungkook's words cut deep into Taehyung's heart. Luna inside him stirs too, feeling hurt for the goddess. Did Jungkook just blame Selene for having an inactive wolf? "Jungkook, I don't think you should blame my god- I mean the moon goddess for what happened to your wolf. She would never do that." There might be times that Luna and Selene don't see eye to eye especially when she decides to leave the goddess and follow her lover's essence, but Selene is a just goddess and she will never punish the innocent. He'll tell Jungkook about the curse, but not now.
