"And you dared mess with Selene's wolf?! Wow! Miyeon, you're insane. Have you lost your mind?" Hira uttered a cry of disbelief, almost cursing her friend.

"She started it when she foiled my plan to take revenge against my old pack and their ally! I just want justice for my family." Miyeon retorted, her eyes blazing as she recalled her family's cruel end.

"Why didn't you just kill Luna? Why take her lover's essence?" Hira asked again.

"Didn't you hear what I said? Luna is Selene's wolf making her equally powerful as the moon goddess. She can kill a person without touching them. I heard Helios also gave her the burning power of the sun. Her skin can be as hot as the blazing fire and can burn someone with a mere touch. How can I fight her head on? Just a flick of her fingers and I'll be reduced to nothing. I initially planned to steal her lover's essence to exact my revenge, but when I laid my eyes on her lover, I was captivated. I had heard rumors before about his exceptional beauty and got to witness it myself. Luna's lover is the epitome of perfection. He is the most handsome being, even the gods can't compete with him. I have realized then why Luna is crazy over him. I entered his dream to make him fall for me but he only had eyes for Luna. He rejected me and said that he'll only love Luna. That ticked me off and took his essence so Luna can never be with him. Luna won't be able to visit his dreams. Without his essence, he's just a shell." Miyeon narrated, eyes filled with anguish from an unrequited love.

Hira stared at her friend with sympathy. She can relate to Miyeon. After all, she was also a victim of unreciprocated love. Yes, Junseo married her but she knows the head alpha will never love her. Junseo gave his whole heart to Harin and left nothing for Hira. That made her life miserable, if she hadn't birthed Kihyun, she would have gone insane by how Junseo treated her-coldly and devoid of affection. She blinks back the tears that threaten to escape her eyes and swallows the lump in her throat as she pulls Miyeon into a hug. "Don't worry, Miyeon. I'll keep a watchful eye and make sure Luna can't enter Obsidian. She will never meet Jungkook. The curse will never be broken. Kihyun is going to be the next head alpha and you won't have to hide in this forest. You will stay with us in the main pack house." Hira murmured words of assurance to Miyeon.

Miyeon hugs her back and quietly thanks her friend. Hira withdraws from the hug to ask the witch. "If he is Luna's lover, does it mean he's Selene's too?"

"Gods and goddesses are basically polygamous. They have several lovers to warm their beds and the same goes for Selene. But when it's time for them to visit Luna's lover, Selene would fall back to give Luna full control. Luna was the one making love to him, not Selene." Miyeon stated, clearing her friend's confusion. "But don't be mistaken that Selene doesn't care for Luna's lover. She cares for him too. But I believe if Selene was to choose between Luna and her lover, she would definitely choose Luna."

Wooshik knocks on the door of Hoseok's cabin, a hand behind his back to hide the courting gift he prepared for his sunshine. Hoseok with disheveled hair that looks like he just woken up opens the door. "Oh Wooshik, hi." He greeted the other male shyly, becoming conscious of his messy appearance as he tried to run a hand between his disheveled locks to tame them. "Come in, would you like coffee or tea?" Hoseok offered as he gestured for Wooshik to sit on the couch.

"Coffee, please." Wooshik responded as his gaze followed Hoseok who went to the kitchen to prepare their drinks.

Wooshik scans Hoseok's cabin. It is bright like Hoseok's personality. The decorations and colors are vibrant and have a cheerful aura. The courting gift in his hand starts to wiggle, wanting to let loose. He holds his courting gift in place as he waits for Hoseok in the living room.

Hoseok walks in carrying a tray with two cups of coffee. He places the tray on the center table. He reaches for a cup and gives it to Wooshik who thanks him. Wooshik takes a small sip and puts the cup back on the tray. "I have something for you." Wooshik said as he showed the hidden gift to Hoseok.
