Taehyung wakes up at the break of dawn. Today he is going to move into their new house. A beaming smile graces his lips at the thought of starting a new life with Jungkook. It is both exhilarating and daunting. He doesn't know what to expect. 'What is making you anxious? It is better this way, us living with Jungkook will make it easier for us to find a way to break his curse.' Luna pointed out. She is way too excited to move in with Jungkook. Who can blame her? She waited for over twenty years to be with her lover again.

'What if we realized that we aren't compatible? That we are better off as friends than mates. What if Jungkook was forced to stay with me because he can't be with Yunhee-his fated mate?' He countered because his insecurities are creeping in. His own mate rejected him, so how can he expect Jungkook to fall for him? Luna hasn't fully divulged to him the depth of their relationship with Jungkook's wolf. She can't blame him for having doubts and reservations when it comes to his and Jungkook's relationship.

Luna lets out a disappointed sigh through their link. 'Your douchebag of an ex-mate doesn't deserve us. I didn't come here for that asshole Kihyun. Jungkook in whatever name and form will always be our lover, our mate. Don't ever doubt that. There are things I haven't revealed to you because I don't want to overwhelm you. Time will come and I will disclose them to you one by one. You have to trust me, Tae. Jungkook is worth every ounce of our love.'

Their conversation is interrupted by loud knocks on the door. He hears his mother's jarring voice. "Taehyung, open the door! We need to talk."

Luna recedes and Taehyung's eyes switch back to hazel. He unlocks the door and his mother hastily steps inside his room. Misuk sees the large bag on the bed. "What do you want, mother?" Taehyung questioned in a flat tone.

"You're moving out of my house and you didn't even care to inform me? Ever since you've turned 18, you have been rude and disrespectful towards us. You're forgetting that you owe your life to us-your parents! Without us, you wouldn't even be standing in front of me. Show some respect, will you?!" Misuk chastised him. Her eyes glinted with anger.

"I thought you were going to throw a celebration after I left your precious house. Aren't you the one who was so eager to kick me out? You even sold me to the Jeons in the name of an arranged marriage to chuck me out. Now, what is your problem?" Taehyung chuckled with sarcasm. His eyes gleamed in purple. "I don't owe you shit! You birthed a dying son with a dead wolf! If it wasn't for me, Taehyung would have been dead at birth. I gave him his life, not you!"

His mother's eyes widened as big as saucers. She covers her mouth in disbelief. "Who are you? You aren't Taehyung's original wolf? That's why you are defiant. You aren't my son's true wolf. Where did you come from? Are you a demon? A witch? What are you?"

"I'm the moon goddess's..." Tae-hwa's voice behind them interjects before Taehyung can finish his sentence. "What's going on here? You both are too loud. Taehyung, Jungkook is here. He said he's here to help you carry your things to your new cabin. You didn't tell us you're moving in with him before the wedding." Tae-hwa scolded him while his mother stood still, her face was blank but her eyes were full of hatred, confusion and fear.
