"I know nothing!" The male screamed. Orion rolled his eyes, taping one of his blades in his palm as he waited. He hadn't even started before the male started to scream.
"Do you know why you are here?" he asked back, walking around to create some distance between them.
"Yes, Or I mean no!"
"Yes?" Orion turned back. "Or no?"
"No!"
"You are here because you were seen helping someone pass over the human border fourteen years ago, and have after that been avoiding all attempts at questioning." Orion studied the blade. It was not his personal favourite, this was just made in silver, sharp and shiny. "The questions we have are, who was it? And why did they get your help?"
The male was one of Eteras newest finds after almost six months in the Spring Court. A rumour about a night that summer, how he allowed for someone to walk over his grounds. Then it had been a challenge for years to get a hold of him. They could not take him directly from the Spring Court, and this little stunt might still give Nyx a headache named Tamlin. But Tarquin had been of help, inviting the male to a party. Azriel had stood there waiting, taking him here the moment he arrived.
"I don't remember!"
"That is different from not knowing." Orion hunched down before him lifting the blade. "Listen, just tell me what you know, and you can go back to your party tonight, unharmed. If it helps us The High Lord will reimburse you for your time." Rhys would do no such thing, but flattery helped. "Or we can take the way of the knife, or even worse. You know what powers live in these mountains." The male's face turned even more pale, and an awful stench of piss came from him. So much to go back as if nothing happened. Orion sighed again, rising from his position.
"She! A priestess!" He then said, Orion froze. "She came and told me that she needed to pass the border, something about it being asked by her from The Mother! I just did what she asked for! One should not question The Mothers plans!"
Stop screaming for fucks sake! Orion nodded along, the screaming hurt his ears. "Who was she?"
"I know nothing more!"
"When was this?"
"Summer! Fourteen years ago!"
"Early or late?"
"Late!" Orion smiled, the male's face dropped even more. No more screaming, he was paralysed as he let his darkness fill the space.
"Thank you, for your collaboration." he was sure the male fainted once he was done. His head and body hung limp from the chains. "Suit yourself." Orion muttered and left the dungeon. Outside his father and Rhys stood. Both locked their eyes at him.
"Report." Rhys demanded, and Orion showed him his memories before heading out.
"Briefing room, and someone needs to take him back once he wakes up." He started to walk away, feeling the power from the High Lord fill the hallway. "I will show you and Nyx at the same time, or you can go in there and take a look. " Orion called over his shoulder. Seeing how Rhys walked into the room.
Nyx had more or less acted like High Lord now for fourteen years, taking care of Hewn, Velaris, the meetings with allies. The few appearances Rhys and Feyre did were limited, often only coinciding with larger events or celebrations. So pointing to Nyx having more authority than Rhys right now was a bold move. But if it gained Orion some more respect, why not?
Then it was someone else that needed to know this. Etera. His sister was still out on a mission, or should be on her way back from it now. Hearing that they had found a way to corner the Spring Court male had made her wrap up her task in an instant. She did deserve a chance to hear the information together with the rest.
