The ice is breaking. Under it the waves of power are rising, fighting even harder to escape and come loose. It builds up pain, anger, an itch, like the body is too small to hold it all. For years it had longed to be set free, and the day is coming closer.

Day and night, slowly coming to the point when it all will fall apart.

Like glass shattering, ice breaking, mountains crumbling to dust. Like light entering the darkest of places, or a fire turning wood to ash. Like a dam holding back the waters, only to break. Leading to destruction and pain as the water floods out, taking lives with it. What can stand against that, and what can remain?
