How fast could she be?

Etera landed in Vegas room, she had been there before, that was how she found her.

Not Vega, Freya. She swallowed and ran towards the desk, everything in this room was something they needed now. For Vegas, no Freyas, future. She packed down a few stuffed animals that laid on a shelf, hoping that she could take most of them. Then it was the notebook on the desk. Etera looked over it, her heart sank once she saw the text. Seven more notebooks in the same style were hidden in the bookshelves. Etera packed those too, hoping that she did the right thing. Then she went out again. Flying as fast as she could, Nyx had already taken her to the Night Court, Ikarad was also flying back.

How is your power? She asked him. It would take a day to fly back home, maybe shorter if they could find a good way underground, but the fastest way was to winnow.

I can take us home. A short dry answer.

Be honest. She saw his shadow below her.

Can we reach the border first? I need a second... Etera flew up, ending up just under him.

Yes.

She looked so... Small... Etera agreed. I can't understand.

We have a lot to figure out. She had not figured it out, she had not seen it, not even believed it to be possible. But no. She had missed it all.

Yea... The Spring Court border came closer, The golden leaves of the Autumn Court came before them.

Come here. She shifted into his arms and then he winnowed. Appearing just outside of Velaris. Fly! She knew how tired he was now, how exhausted he would be for days after this, but she had a different task now.

Diving into the River Estate she shifted once again landing before Nyx and a door to the room that had been prepared for Vega.

Freya.

"Ikarad?"

"Coming when he can." Etera placed down her backpack, "Amren needs to read them as fast as possible." She pulled out the texts, but left the stuffed animals and diaries.

"Is it her?" Rhys' booming voice filled the hall. "Why was she there?" Pain laced his voice, and the walls cracked as the power from the High Lord started to swell.

"Not now, Rhys." Etera bit back, giving the backpack to Nyx. "take them to her."

"Not now?" The High Lord looked even closer to exploding. "That is my daughter in there!" Etera squared her shoulders.

"The girl in that room has grown up, believing to be Tamlin's daughter for twenty years, she was in an arranged engagement, she knows nothing about her powers, past or future. She just started her bleedings, at twenty, remember your mothers story Rhysand." He could kill her in an instant, she knew that. The powers that made the walls crack grew even darker, his violet eyes glowed with an intensity few had witnessed and walked away from. But Etera held her ground. "The girl in that room is sick, scared, and from all that she knows she is kidnaped to a strange place. They called her cursed." Now the powers shrank around the High Lord. And Etera let out a breath, but she did not move from her spot.

"Is it true?" Feyre spoke, "is she home?" She came walking down the hall, her tattooed hands pressed against her chest.

"Yes..." Nyx spoke up, switching places with Etera. "But she needs help." Did you hear her thoughts? Her mate's brother asked her.

Yes... It had been a scream, almost a command in her mind. She will need so much help. Ikarad came next in the hallway, taking the ageing healer with him. It was a fact now, Majda had reached the end of her long life, her hair had started to turn white, wrinkles told the story of her life in her face. Her brown eyes still held strong, even if they had started to lose some of their strengths.
