"The Circle was a group that worshiped a man named Ozma as The Infinite Man. They traveled the land helping those in need and teaching people how to master the usage of Aura and Semblance. They were eventually wiped out by a band of warriors, leaving only one alive." Y/n read from the book's pages before he leaned back in his chair, removing his headphones. The store was silent. It unnerved him like something was coming.
He shrugged it off and continued reading. "After being allowed rest in a town for defending villagers from Grimm, Ozma was questioned by the townsfolk about his powerful abilities, which a young girl deemed to be magic. Ozma confirmed his magical powers and immortality to the group, likening it to a never-ending circle of life and death. That night, Ozma tried to sneak away from their town,"
"but was followed by the girl and other townsfolk, who pledged their allegiance to Ozma as apprentices." He muttered to himself, tracing a finger over the illustration of a man surrounded by followers. "Wait... is Ozma the origin of Aura? And why does Ozpin have some diary from the guy? Maybe he's interested in the myth?"
Just as Y/n was about to delve deeper into his thoughts, the store's silence was abruptly broken by the sound of the service bell before Tukson's voice was heard. "Be right there," Tukson called from the back of the store. Y/n glanced up from the book at the clock before getting up. "How may I.... how may I help you?"
"Nothing, just browsing." Y/n heard a book shut as he began to clean up his own.
"Actually, I was wondering, do you have any copies of 'The Thief and The Butcher'?" Another voice, but it was female.
"Yes, we do." Tukson hesitated answering the questions.
"That's great." The feminine voice replied excitedly.
"Would you... like a copy?"
"No, just wondering." Y/n heard another book slam shut. "Oh, oh! What about 'Violet's Garden'? In paperback?"
"He's got it. Hardback, too." Y/n reached the corner of the bookcase holding his small stack of books.
"Ooh, options are nice."
"Eh, no pictures." Another book slammed shut. "Hey! Do you have any comics?"
"Near the front." Tukson answered, attempting to sound confident and failing.
"Oh, no, wait!" The woman's voice cut through suddenly. "What... about... 'Third Crusade'?"
"Um... I ...don't believe we carry that one." Tukson's voice wavered slightly, betraying his growing unease.
"Oh." The disappointment came from the male voice as another book slammed shut.
"What was this place called again?" The feminine voice questioned.
"Tukson's Book Trade."
"And you're Tukson?"
"...That's right." Tukson hesitated, unsure of whether he wanted to answer or not.
"So then I take it that you're the one that came up with the catchphrase?" Her voice was snarky, almost teasing.
"Yes."
"And, what was it again?" The male taunted.
"Tukson's Book Trade, home to every book under the sun."
"Except the Third Crusade." Y/n peeked around the corner, spotting the two a tall male wearing all gray and black and a shorter female wearing mostly green.
"It's just a catchphrase." Tukson defended.
"It's false advertising!"
"Actually, it's a slogan. It's designed to encourage you to prove them wrong or entice you to look for something you like." Y/n rounded the corner cutting into the conversation. "Tukson, how much for these-
