"So how is your first day going, little kiddies?
"You mean since you and Y/n ditched me and I exploded?"
"Yikes! Meltdown already?"
"No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school! And there was some fire, and I think some ice...?"
"Is she being serious or is this get back?"
"No, she was quite literally in a dust explosion in front of the school."
"Oh....are you like good?
"She's fine she ranted about Crescent Rose for like 20 minutes." Y/n said typing away on his scroll.
"Maybe she hit her head that's shorter than usual."
"Hey! I'm right here you know!"
"Who are you texting?"
"Somebody."
"Well duh, I'm asking who."
"I know." Y/n smirked as Ruby started to explain how the explosion occurred.
"I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage, and then she yelled at me, and then I sneezed, and then I exploded, and then she yelled at me again, and I felt really, really bad, and I just wanted her to stop yelling at me!"
"You!"
"Oh, God, it's happening again!" Ruby shouted jumping into Yang's arms
"You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff!"
"Oh my God, you really exploded."
"I said she was telling the truth."
"I know but I thought it was you helping her get back at me for leaving her."
"It was an accident. It was an accident!" Weiss held up a pamphlet titled DUST for Dummies and Other Inadequate Individuals to Ruby. "What's this?"

"Read this, and don't ever speak to me again." Weiss shoved the pamphlet into Ruby's hands.
"Look, uh, it sounds like you two just got off on the wrong foot. Why don't you start over and try to be friends, okay?"
"Yeah! Great idea, sis! Hello, Weiss! I'm Ruby! Wanna hang out? We can go shopping for school supplies!"
