Were we ment to be? [Chanmin]

Chapter 19

AUTHOR POV:

Chan was on his way to the hospital. Han had informed him that him and his boyfriend Minho is there to keep an eye on Seungmin. Chan, trying his best to focus on the road while his hands were trembeling a bit. It might not be a huge incident or injury, but his care for Seungmin was...unexplainable.

Soon after he arrived at the hospital Seungmin was in, he checked the front desk for his name and ran straight to his room. When he entered he sawed Minho and Jisung sitting besides Seungmin. Seungmin had his eyes shut, which means his still resting. Minho was asleep, holding onto Seungmin's hands, afraid if he might run away from the room. Han was still awake making sure he was there if Seungmin needed anything.

"Hey Hannie.."

"Chan!..glad to see you"

He stood up and walked towards Chan giving him a big hug.

"He wasn't injured or anything, his ok"

"But...what happened?"

"His sister was the one who drove him here"

"Is she still here?"

"Yeah, she's bringing Seungmin some food from food court"

"Ahh...have you eaten?? And Minho?"

"Of course we had. No need to worry about us tho, your little crush over there has been asking for you after he woke up"

"Ah...i feel so guilty i let this happened.."

"Hey...its not your fault ok?, the poor boy had not been eating nor drinking for awhile...and stayed up late, not getting much sleep then he used to.."

Chan knew why. He knew that Seungmin had a habit of addicting getting high grades. He knew he wouldn't rest until he got the passing grade or higher than that. But why...why couldn't he come sooner..why couldn't he come in time to remind him to sleep, eat or rest well...at this point he felt more guilty looking at Seungmin sleeping in a hospital bed.

The door then quilty opened. Revealing Seungmin's sister, having a tray of food for her little brother.

She then looked over to Chan's direction and immediately recognizing him.

"Chan?"

"Yes Noona?"

"I'm glad you came...Seungmin asked for you before me.. Hahaha, your really lucky Chan! He rarely does that"

"......"

He felt the guilt break his heart. He needed him the most in that very moment. and he wasn't there. oh how sorry he was for letting that happen. 'Why wasn't i there for him when he needed me the most..' was all he could say.

An hour had past and Han fell asleep on Minho. So he bid goodbye to both Chan and his sister and asked to update him about Seungmin's condition. he may not show all affectionate and all. But he really cares for Seungmin. He's just bad at expressing it, but you can see from his actions.

Chan, trying to lighten up the atmosphere, talked to his sister to know her more. She introduced herself, meaning age, where she work and etc. And he asked about her day and all, trying to keep her company. He knew he eventually had to go to work sooner or later. But with Seungmi's condition now, how could he?. His sister had been insisting him to go home or he'll be late for work. But he was stubborn and said 'What if he wakes up not finding me?, i don't want to dissapoint him..'. and with that, his sister stops trying and thanking him for willing to stay for him. Luckily, he bought his laptop with him and had his hard drive. So he can easily work on the new song while waiting for Seungmin.
