Freen rushed over to Saints house at sonic speed and was immediately greeted by him at the door as if he what been expecting her. "Hey, everything alright?" Saint asked as he opened the door letting her in. "Hey sorry to bother both of you so late at night." Freen apologized as she walked in and they made their way to the living room. "Nonsense. This is your home too." He said smiling and placing his hand on her shoulder. "Hey sweetie, it's nice to see you again." Heidi said hugging her. "Same to you. I see you knew I was coming?" Heidi laughed and shrugged her shoulders. I could sense there was something troubling you. Freen smiled politely and nodded at her. She knew Heidi was in tune with all of their emotions and could sense when one of them was troubled. Freen usually tried her best to keep a monotone expression with her but most often than not Heidi could read her like an open book.

"What's been troubling you?" Heidi asked placing her hand on her back and leading her to the couch. They took a seat and waited for her to speak. "I ran into a vampire today and he definitely did not have good intentions with the humans." Saint looked at her with his brows furrowed and leaned his arms on his knees. "How do you know?" He asked. "Well, I noticed a woman in a diner alone and this vampire looked like he was harassing her. After she decided to leave, he followed her and I had to intervene to keep him away. I knew he would follow her home so I brought her to my place and she is sleeping there now." Saint and Heidi shared a concerned look and Saint spoke. "Is she alone now?" Freen nodded. "Yeah, I figured I should tell you asap so you can notify the clan and have them keep an eye out for him." He nodded and patted her knee. "Don't worry, I'll let everyone know. I'll have everyone do a round around the area tonight while you look after the woman." Freen nodded and smiled at him. "Thanks."

"You should probably get back to her and be careful." Freen stood and nodded. "Oh and Freen?" Freen turned as she was leaving. "If this is the vampire who has been causing havoc in the area, we need to prepare for a possible stand off. We don't know what this individual is capable of and who he is working with. Saving that woman might have stepped on his toes and he might come back to finish the job or even worse... come back for revenge. Please stay safe, we will meet again soon." Freen nodded in acknowledgment and began walking towards the door. "Bye sweetheart." Heidi hugged her and rubbed her back feeling the nervousness coming from her. "It will all be okay." She whispered as she let go. Freen nodded and waved at them before sprinting off to her house.

Just as she was reaching her home she heard rustling coming from behind. She turned and scanned the tree line in front of her house but couldn't make out anything. She sniffed the air and crinkled her nose at the strange smell. She could tell someone had been there recently but now was gone. She hurried inside and headed to check on Becky. She felt nervous as she approached the room hoping nothing had happened to her. As she came in she was relieved to see Becky still asleep peacefully in the bed. She approached her but froze when she noticed a single white tulip beside her.

She picked it up with a concerned expression and noticed a small note attached to it

She picked it up with a concerned expression and noticed a small note attached to it. In red writing it read : ' Soon my dear...'
Freen frowned and smelled the air. It smelled like the vampire that was harassing Becky. She swallowed hard and clenched her fists knowing she had made a mistake by leaving her alone. She kicked herself mentally for allowing that creep to come close to her. Who knows what he would have done. She huffed as she approached Becky quietly examining her for any possible injuries. She removed her hair from her face and slowly traced her finger over her face gently caressing it. "I'm sorry for leaving you alone." She whispered rubbing her thumb on her cheek. Becky stirred and opened her eyes but Freen was already on the other side of the room.
