Becky woke up early after a long night of researching feeling a little groggy. She had been unable to find anything about the mysterious woman who saved her sister but was excited to be going in for her working interview. Besides the late night research session, she felt a little worried about the noise she heard the night before. She was in the middle of researching the mysterious woman when she thought she heard a voice at her window. When she went to look for the source of the sound, she found no one. She had been feeling a little paranoid ever since she heard about the murder nearby.

She headed for the shower and got dressed after. She decided to go for a simple white cardigan with a khaki skirt and her white shoes look. She spent little time on her makeup deciding to go for a natural look.

She headed downstairs to make breakfast before heading out. As she was eating her last bite of waffles, Lila came downstairs. "Hey! You're up early today." She said surprised to see her little sister up so early. Laila popped 2 waffles in the toaster and shrugged her shoulders. "Where you headed to?" Becky prodded hoping to get an answer. "Around." She side eyed her but decided to keep prodding. "Around with...Sunny?" Laila's eyes widened and she looked around the room to make sure no one heard. "Yo, chill. They might hear you." Becky laughed and stood to wash her plate. "Relax. Mom's asleep and dad already left for work. You know his saying... Early bird gets things done..." Laila rolled her eyes and took a bite of the waffle. "So, you never answered my question...?"

"Umm.. maybe. She's still upset at me thanks to you." Becky acted offended. "Me? What did I do?" Laila narrowed her eyes at her. "You threw me under the bus yesterday." Becky laughed sarcastically. "Look you're the one who decided to go out that night and not tell your girlfriend." Laila's eyes widened and she began choking on the waffle. She began coughing as Becky patted her back and handed her a glass of milk. "Calm down. You're supposed to chew your food." Laila stopped coughing and drank her milk. She looked at Becky with an annoyed face, but Becky just laughed . "She's not my girlfriend..." Laila whispered as she wiped her mouth. "Uh-huh. Well it's getting late, let me know if you need a ride down there. I have my working interview today at the police station. But you should really make up with her if you want her to be your girlfriend."

Laila blushed and looked away as Becky laughed. She loved teasing her sister especially since it made her embarrassed, something that she rarely showed. Becky ruffled Laila's hair and quickly left before she ended up getting smacked by her. She was still laughing as she turned the car on and began pulling away but stopped when she saw Laila running after her. "Don't hit me! I have an interview and can't afford to look messy." She yelled expecting Laila to come out looking for revenge. "I'm not going to hit you, I was actually going to take you up on that ride." Becky smiled and unlocked the door. "Hop in." Laila jumped into the car and placed her skateboard in the back seat. They drove in silence listening to the music before Becky spoke. "So where am I dropping you off?" Laila blushed and whispered. "Can you actually drop me off at the Café from the other day?"
