"What are you doing here Nam?" Freen asked with an annoyed tone. "Why so hostile?" Nam asked in a sarcastic voice. "You knew she was here, why did you come by?" Freen placed the coffee down and gave her an annoyed look. "I just wanted to see what the girl looked like that has the big bad Freen so whipped." Freen rolled her eyes at her. "You're being ridiculous. I have work soon and I have to make sure she makes it home safe. So if you don't mind..." She turned around and made her way upstairs. "You know that what you are doing is going to get you in trouble right?" Freen stopped and stood for a moment. "Yeah." Nam watched her disappear upstairs as she watched with mild worry.
———————————————————"Where you been?" Becky turned around in fear grasping her chest. "Geez! You scared me!" Laila watched her from the doorway as Becky rummaged her room for clothes. "You've been gone for a few days." Becky picked a shirt and threw it on the bed. "Umm... yeah. Been busy, how have things been here?" Laila watched her for a moment and in a monotone voice answered. "Same old, same old." Becky glanced at her and smiled. "Good, I'm glad."She threw her pants on the bed, followed by her shoes. "I'm running late for work, but I'll catch up with you later." She smiled and ruffled Laila's hair. Laila fixed her hair and remained at the door as Becky gathered her things. "Everything okay?" Becky asked surprised that Laila hadn't left. "Are you staying tonight?" Becky laughed and watched her intently trying to read her. "Umm.. probably. We'll see how things go at work." Laila nodded and pursed her lips. Becky waited for her to leave but she lingered at the door. "Why? Do you miss me." Laila scoffed and shook her head. "No, it's just... been a little... boring around here." Becky smiled and approached her, enveloping her in a hug. "I missed you too." She whispered. Laila fought the hug but gave in when Becky did not release her. "Okay you can let go now." Becky laughed and kissed the top of her head making Laila wipe her head and frown. "I'm leaving now." She announced heading for the door. "Oh and by the way, you might want to hide that hickey on your neck from mom." Laila walked out closing the door behind her. Becky ran into the bathroom and looked into the mirror focusing on her neck. "Shit!" She spat out as she examined the mark. It was large and dark and in a visible spot. Becky grabbed her makeup and began dabbing concealer on. The mark was now slightly hidden but still visible. She ran to her closet and dug through until she found a turtleneck shirt. "This will have to do."

Becky opened her car door and gathered her bag before getting out. "Did you eat?" Becky startled and flinched hard. "Holy..! Man, what is with everyone and sneaking up on me today?" She breathed out relieved as she watched Freen standing at the rear of her car. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Becky nodded accepting the apology. "I have it here." She motioned for the breakfast Nam had given her. "I was going to get my own but I spent extra time trying to find an outfit that would hide the mark you left on my neck last night." She gave her side eye, but Freen only grinned proudly. She approached Becky slowly and gently pinned her to the car. She lifted Becky's chin and turned it to expose her neck. She examined it and pulled the turtleneck down to see the still visible mark. She gently kissed the spot and faced Becky. "I can give you more if you let me." Becky looked around nervously. "Freen, not here." She whispered.
