Freen went over to Saint and Heidi's mansion early in the morning the next day following their hunt. "Hello, anyone home?" She walked in to the kitchen and poured herself a cup of coffee. Human food and drinks did nothing for a vampire but it helped Freen assimilate being human, besides she had grown used to the taste over the years and it was almost comforting for her. She took a seat on the couch turning on the news and waited for Saint to come down. "Hey there!" Saint took a seat next to her as he came down the stairs. Freen waived and quickly turned her attention back on the news. "Did I wake you?" Saint deadpanned her and rolled his eyes. "Vampires don't sleep during the night or even need sleep frequently." Freen smiled knowingly but loved to tease him. "So what were you doing then?" She raised her eyebrows smiling at him in a teasing manner.

"Well Heidi and I spent the night researching the murder last night." Freen looked over at him and curiously asked. "Find anything?" Saint looked at her with disappointment and shook his head. "Not much. Looks to be male by the size of the footprints we found that night and is traveling north. I've gotten in contact with some of our neighboring friends up north and asked them to keep an eye out for any activity. In the meantime we should go out and do rounds around the city for a few nights until things calm down." Freen nodded in agreement. "What do you think they want in Bangkok?" Saint shrugged and stared at the tv. "Not sure. Could be just a negligent nomad passing by."

"Hmm.. could be. Or he could have an agenda for all these murders. No vampire needs to feed that much in such a short amount of time unless he's traveling with others or if he's..." Saint stood up. "Let's not jump into conclusions. I'll talk to the rest of the squad and we'll divide sectors for tonight. Let's just play it by ear." Freen compressed her lips and nodded. "What time do you want to meet?" Saint looked at his watch and said, "7:30pm here at the mansion." Freen took one last sip of her drink while she watched the footage of the crime scene on the tv. "I'll keep investigating. I think I'll stop by the police station to visit Engfa and see if they found anything else. Saint placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a concerned look. "Hey I know this might be an interesting case for you, but be careful. You don't want to involve yourself too much or do something crazy."

Freen looked at him offended and shook his hand off. "Freen. I mean it. I love you but sometimes you can go a little too far. Do you understand?" She sighed but nodded in understanding. "Good. Now if you excuse me, Heidi and I have some business to attend to. Freen cringed and immediately headed for the door. She decided to scope out the crime scene area to see if she could find anything else. After a while of walking in the forest and climbing trees to spy on the investigators, she eventually decided to go to the police station. She got out of her black BMW and headed for the door of the building. Just as she was opening the door her body became rigid when a sudden strong aroma of sweetness filled her nose and paralyzed her. Vampires had very strong senses and although it is very easy at first to be tempted by human blood, over the years vampires grew immune to the smell and could learn to ignore it.

This smell was so captivating it was as it was Freens's first day of being a vampire and she had smelled blood for the first time. A sudden hunger and severe urge filled her body and her fangs automatically emerged inside her mouth. It was as if time slowed and the world around her did as well. She watched in slow motion as a young fair skinned woman with light brown hair almost ran into her. She would normally be able to anticipate and sense danger but this time she was frozen and just barely avoided their collision. She looked at her with big brown eyes and a smile that would have stopped Freen's heart from beating if it wasn't already dead. She held her breath and forced her fangs to retract before preparing to walk inside in an attempt to get away. "Hey aren't you the woman who saved me from... never mind."
