We open with Toge in his ninja gi falling from the sky and hits the ground roughly on a mountain. He groans holding his ribs but heard the sound of crying, running towards the sound he sees a baby crying as a wolf was slowly moving towards the infant, it goes for the kill but was blasted away by a gust of wind making the wolf whimper and runs away.
Toge kneels down to the baby still crying gently holding it as the baby stops crying when it looks at Toge. The baby now picked up by Toge and begins to burble happily while he sighs in relief. He notices the Cloud Kingdom, and uses his mask as a baby holder and begins to climb the mountain. Two years later we see Toge in the cloud kingdom with a little girl in front of him.
Toge: Okay. First you got to form the ball, then you got to get on quick.
Toge is seen riding around on the ball made of air in the court. The little girl tries it. The girl forms it and tries getting on, but spins and falls off. Toge gently gets off his seeing the girl sniffling.
Toge: It's okay. It was hard for me too when I first tried. C'mon, I'll make you some Dango.
The girl's eyes lit up with a huge smile until a monk runs over in a panic.
Monk: Toge! There's a group of men here, they don't seem friendly either.
Toge looks ahead seeing Ras and Beatrix with their army. He looks back down at the little girl, he kneels down taking his prayer beads and gently putting them in her hands.
Toge: Okay, this might get messy. But I need you to promise me that you'll never stop your training. Okay?
The girl nods her head and just hugs Toge crying.
Toge: It's going to be okay, Euphrasia
Euphrasia was then taken away by the monk inside the temple but the last thing she saw was Toge walking towards Ras and Beatrix getting into a fighting stance. Now in the present on the Destiny's Bounty, Arin checks on Riyu.
Arin: Our little guy's still asleep. Totally exhausted.
Lloyd: Saving a kingdom of magical mud-eating rock monsters will do that.
Kai: So you're telling me this dragon, like, "sparks" or something, then Sora can use her elemental power?
Sora: If I even have a power. It might be all Riyu. You saw how he powered up that mud field.
Lloyd: We've gone over this. You have a power. Riyu just... soups it up.
Nya: "Souping up" isn't how dragons work, is it? That's weird, right?
Lloyd: Everything's been weird since the Merge happened. As far as I know, no one's ever taught themselves Spinjitzu before. But then, the Merge hits, and suddenly...
Toge: Wa — wait. You learned Spinjitzu by yourself? No Master Wu morning breath?
Arin: Well, it's kind of a shaky, basic Spinjitzu.
Lloyd: But still better than any of us could do when we started out.
Arin: I was just trying to figure out all the moves I'd seen you do. I'm... kind of a ninja fan.
Sora: "Kind of"?
She chuckles.
Sora: He once asked a barber to give him "the Zane". It did not go well.
Kai: Of course not. He should've gotten "the Kai".
Nya: Please. You shouldn't even get "the Kai". (To Lloyd) And you think all this is tied to these Merge Quake things?
Lloyd: Maybe. MergeQuakes are like aftershocks of the original Merge, where two realms try to occupy the same space. Elemental powers shut them down, but they're happening more often.
