PART 39: YOU MEANT NOTHING TO ME

I was walking up and down thinking what I should say to her because I cannot just approach her without giving a reason. I know she's gonna hate me and that's alright I can handle that but I just can't handle her dealing this all by herself.

<<FLASHBACK<<

Cole and I were driving to a petrol station to put gas in our tank and to get some snacks. We had stolen a blue light mustang car as we both got out of the car and I started putting gas in the car. Cole told me that he was going to do some quick business

"Chris?" Amelia says as she walks out of the store

"Didn't I tell you to stop following me?" I say coldly

"Yes...but what you are doing is so wrong..." she says softly

"I care and I want you to be safe...please come home." she says innocently

"What's your problem? Are you fucking deaf? Did you not just hear what I said? Go away I'm not coming back!" I raise my voice

"Don't you love me?" she says with tears in her eyes

"No...not anymore..." I say with no emotion

I just need Cole to believe this act I'm putting up all of this is for him to understand that I'm on his side so then I can then attack him and make him feel like his powerless. First, I need to do this but it's so fucking hard to do this because I'm hurting Amelia and that's not what I want at all. I looked at her with no emotion and no care trying not to show it since I'm putting up this fake act.

I mustered all my courage and knocked on the door as someone opened the door. It was Tony as he just stared at me. I heard Amelia asking who is it as she approached the door seeing me with a complete upsetting look on her face. She was in her gown and Tony he was wearing a black sweater and grey sweatpants.

"Can you give us some privacy to talk?" Amelia says looking at Tony as he head

"Sure." he nods his head as he leaves

"What do you want?" she snaps

"I came here to amends and apologize for wh- I get cut off

She then slaps me in the face without letting me finish my sentence.

"How dare you!" she shouts at me slapping my face leaving a red bruise mark

"I'm sorry okay? I had no choice I wanted him to believe this all this act I had to put up...I'm so sorry Amelia okay? I know what I did was so wrong but please....

"You're not the person I fell in love with before you do realize that? What you did will never make amends and fix everything you've messed! I never want to see you again!" she says as she pushes me out and slams the door in my face.

I just couldn't believe that of course, I deserved every bit of it but she actually hates me and she doesn't ever want to see me again. I got into my car and drove back to the mansion as it was getting dark. I parked my car near the garage entrance as I walked into the place looking awfully disappointed.

"Chris? Is everything alright?" Cole says walking out of the kitchen

"Yeah...just a bad day." I chuckle

"I know that you went to go see Amelia I know everything." he says looking at me coldly

I just stood silent not saying a single word. How does he know? Everything I did was all a lie and an act to make sure he doesn't hurt her. Which I knew already that he was possibly going to use me to go against Amelia which I wouldn't have done.
