AMELIA'S POV

I sat in boredom whole day and played with my fingers and did laps around the house since I was so bored and had absolutely nothing to do. It was already getting so late and I don't know if his going to return or not. Nor did he reply to any of the text messages I had sent him, maybe he had just forgot about me.

I checked outside to see if Chris returned, but unfortunately he did not do so and that made me impatient because I was concerned. What if he got lost? Or what if something bad happened to him?

No...I should not be so negative right now he will return...he promised me he would. I then hear a car pull up as I then run downstairs and open the door to see Chris getting out of his car as he widely smiled at me.

I then ran to him and jumped in his arms in excitement and joy to see him and so did he feel that way. We hugged each other deeply as he then pulls away and raises his brow in confusion.

"What's wrong?" he asks in confusion

"Nothing...I thought you...wouldn't return." I say softly

"No...I promised you. Didn't I?" he says chuckling

"Yes I suppose so." I say nodding

"Okay come lets go." he says taking my hand into his and leading me in his car

I didn't know where we were going as I kept my eyes on the lookout. He kept a warm smile on his face as we kept driving. It felt like hours as Chris kept his hand on my thigh while still focusing on the road.

Once we got there, we got out of the car and walked up a long hill. I have never seen such greener grass like this, with flowers blooming all over the area. I big smile appeared on my face as I looked over to Chris.

"This is amazing... You did all this for me." I gasped in shock looking at my surroundings

"Yes... I hope you liked it?" he says nervously

"Of course! I love it." I say giving him a big hug

He had done all of this just for me... He took all the time and effort to make something so special.. Just for me.

I then walked to the massive giant oak tree and sat on the swing as he did too. The view looked indescribably beautiful something I only saw in fairy tales and myths.

Then we stared at each other deeply and I couldn't even imagine what Chris was thinking about right now.

I made the first move and kissed him as he then brought in tongue as I groan and he heard it which made a small smirk appear on his face. He then pulled away as we both looked at the amazing view.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" he says looking over at me with a smile

"It is so astounding and unremarkably amazing...you did an amazing job. All this effort just for me is so nice of you to do." I say trying not to be emotional

"Mhmm..." he could say as he raised his brow

"Anyways, I brought some snacks so we can feast on." he says giggling like a child

Chris then takes the items out of the basket as we then started to eat the bagel that he bought which was nice of him. It was heading for around 6 now and getting to dark as the clouds shifted from place to place. With the dark clouds coming over to our side as a frown appeared on my face.

"It looks like it might rain." I say pointing at the clouds

"Nope. It may look like it but I assure you, it's not. Just wait for the best part." he says smiling

Chris had more? So you telling me he had made more plans other than just this? Wow...he does so much for me I guess his trying to own up to his past mistakes. Which is reasonable...and I do fully understand why. His changed a lot recently and I can tell by the way his doing things, he doesn't do it because his trying to earn it up, yes he is but at the same time I feel as if he really wants to make amends with me and fix things between us. It's like a broken wall that his trying to repair the damage to it as much as possible.

I just can't believe how hard I was on him and the fact I used to accuse him for things that he never did, and let my overthinking get the better of me.

I guess I was wrong...

I still love him and care about him of course that has never changed I just don't want this epic moment to ever fade away or vanish. I want it to be forever....I want to lay next to him and wake up to him every morning, to smell his scent and just his presence around me...I want him to be there when I need him the most, when I'm going through my darkest times for him to support me when I need someone.

We watched the clouds as they shifted from place to place very quickly and it soon became dark until it was almost really dark. The only thing we could hear was nothing but nature, no cars, hooting, people shouting and screaming at each other, just peace. That's why I picked this place because this of all places, is heaven for me it's like all my childhood memories here.

FLASHBACK<<

"I am going to count you will hide okay?" Jayden giggles

"Okay." I say running through the forest

"One, Two, Three..." he starts counting

I ran through the forest trying to hide but not too far away since mom and dad won't like that if I would do such a thing. The trees was nice and peaceful just the silence of nature and nothing to disturb it.

"Ready or not here I come!" he shouts and walks around the forest

I giggle slightly and smile as I am hiding in the big oak tree luckily, I am a professional climber. I sat patiently waiting for Jayden to come find me as I just played with some of the twigs and branches that fell out of the tree. It was massive and it seemed like it has been here for many years. I have heard it's very popular for tourists and kids come play here often, but not that much since people have been getting sick lately.

My brother was right under the tree which I was secretly hiding in as he looked left right and center but couldn't find me.

"Fine. I give up." he sighs in defeat

"Really? My big brother giving up so easily?" I chuckle

"Where are you Amelia?" he says annoyed

I then jump up from behind down the tree and crawl my way down as he jumps getting a fright from my reaction. As he then just gave me his annoyed face and I laughed then we both started laughing and having a joyful time until our parents called us.

OUT OF FLASHBACK>>

I sat in deep thought remembering this exact spot in which we stood under laughing and had great memories. We were both young teenagers by then when this happened...time when so fast and quickly I just wish I could get it back. To have one more chance with him.

Only if I could...
