Currently, I am in Busan in our office located on the farm. I'm handling some documents about the machines needed for better crop yield, which will help increase our supply.
Life has been much more hectic and busy since we returned from the hospital. It's been over two weeks now, and I'm trying to figure out how to repay the money we owe.
Regarding university I think I'll just go to give my last semester exams and then fully commit to managing our farm business. I want to help my dad.
He has never said no to anything for me, always providing whatever I needed. Now, it's my turn to take over the work so he can finally rest.
Over the past two weeks, Mr. Kang and my friends have called to ask about my whereabouts, since I didn't inform them before coming here. I told them on the phone that I’m fine and currently in Busan.
I didn't mention our farm's financial problems or my parents health issues. I know they would come here and try to help me if they knew.
I’m glad to have such friends and a mentor like Mr. Kang who has always stood behind me treating me like his own son. Dad strictly told me not to inform Mr. Kang about our situation, as he would rush here to help his dear friend my father.

It's been a while since I last saw Jungkook. he last time was at my house when I was cooking.
He had offered to help but I refused. Since then, I haven't seen or heard from him and dad hasn't mentioned him either. It's odd because dad usually talks about Jungkook’s good behavior and supportive nature.
I think my dad likes him more than me. "𝙄𝙨 𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙣, 𝙝𝙪𝙝?" I scoffed bitterly. But whatever he must be busy with that Minji girl it's not like I hate her but can't do anything about the little jealousy. 𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙄?
As I was packing my school bag ready to leave, Mrs. Aera in her late 40s and Iseul who is about a year older than me, came in my room.
Mrs. Aera has been with us since I was a kid always looking after me and cooking healthy food.
Iseul lives with us since she was around ten year old and doesn't have anyone except her older brother who lives in their hometown.
They informed me that my parents wanted me to join them at the dining table for breakfast.
"Yes.. Mrs. Aera please tell Dad I'll be there in a minute. I just need to finish packing my bag. Iseul unnie could you help me find my assignment? I can't find it."
"Okay" she said and after helping me find the assignment. I went downstairs towards the dining table greeting my dad and mom.
"Good morning, Mom. Good morning, Dad" I said, kissing both their cheeks. They smiled and wished me back.
"Good morning princess" they said in unison.
I sat in my usual chair beside Dad and across Mom. Breakfast included pancakes, scrambled eggs, and fresh fruit. I always cherished these moments when we could eat together.
It was rare for all three of us to be present for a meal. Usually if Dad was there Mom would be busy, and vice versa. I hope we could always eat like this.
As I was drinking my glass of orange juice, Dad informed me of something that left me shocked.
"Y/N after school today, we'll be heading to Busan."
"Why.. Dad? I mean, Busan, all of a sudden?" I asked being a bit shocked.
"It's been a long time since I visited Busan, and I'm missing Jaehyuk a lot" he explained.
"Okay, Dad" I said smiling at Mom. "Mom you're coming with us right?"
But Mom said "No.. sweetie.. I have to stay here to look after the new dress designs that are soon launching in the market."
"Okay Mom" I said with a smile. I stood up and greeted them again. "I'm leaving for school."
"Okay, princess but don't cause trouble," Dad said with a teasing but warning tone.
We finished our breakfast shared a family hug, and I asked.. Dad are you going to pick me up from school?"
"If I'm free by then I'll surely come and pick you up. But don't forget we have to go to Busan today" he reminded me.
"Yes Dad.. " I said and left for school with my driver.

As she left for school her thoughts lingered on Jungkook and the sudden trip to Busan. She couldn't help but feel concern for him, though she quickly declined it as jealousy over his possible involvement with Minji.
Little did she know her world was on the brink of a drastic change. Meanwhile Jungkook was busy dealing with problems at his parents' farm.
Soon a series of events would unfold leading them down a path filled with misunderstandings heartache and a significant shift in their relationship.
