As she turned around, Y/N gasped, and a single tear rolled down her cheek. Her eyes widened in shock and panic as she saw Jungkook sitting in a wheelchair. His presence filled her mind and heart with an overwhelming sense of guilt and tension.
Jungkook approached her, guiding the wheelchair with the press of a button. Y/N couldn't take her eyes off his face, her mind swirling with confusion and worry.
"Jungkook," she said softly, her voice trembling, barely above a whisper. "Uncle didn't tell me about-"
"𝘼𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙙, 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩?" Jungkook cut her off, his voice dripping with full of sarcasm and bitterness.
The anger and hatred in his eyes were unmistakable, piercing through her. "𝙊𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚, 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣'𝙩. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨?"
"𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘬𝘰𝘰𝘬... 𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺," she apologized, her voice breaking.
"Sorry?" Jungkook scoffed. "𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣? 𝙊𝙧 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙄 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪? 𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮?" he shouted, making her close her eyes and clench her jeans in her hands.
Tears streamed down her face, not because of his shouting but because of seeing Jungkook in this state, a state which only she felt responsible for.
"𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘶𝘭𝘵," she cried, trying to control her sobs. "𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐'𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺, 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘬𝘰𝘰𝘬." She had decided not to cry, but seeing him like in this condition this made her tears flow uncontrollably.
"𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙪𝙡𝙩?" Jungkook hissed, his voice laced with venom. "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘧𝘪𝘹 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴? 𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦? 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙚."
"𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦, 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘬𝘰𝘰𝘬, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺," She pleaded, her voice trembling. "𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦."
