The evening sun was setting as Y/N ran towards the Jeon family's house. Her heart was racing, and her breath was heavy, but she didn't care.

All she wanted was to find where Jungkook is. After everything she went through in the basement, she was sure he would be here. She had to confront him about his childish prank.

But as she reached the garden, she stopped suddenly. In front of her, Mrs. Jeon and Jia were standing near a big tree, one decorated with holy threads and colorful cloths. They were praying, chanting some mantras. She froze in place when she heard her own name in both their prayer.

"𝘖 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴! 𝘒𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦!" Mrs. Jeon's voice was filled with bitterness. Jia stood beside her, nodding her head in agreement while chanting along.

Y/N felt her heart sink. They were praying against her, treating her like a curse, like she was some kind of evil spirit. Seeing this Tears welled up in her eyes, but she tried to hold them back.

She had gone through so much already escaping from the basement and running all the way here but hearing her name like that hurt more. Slowly, tears began to roll down her cheeks, no matter how hard she tried to control them and stay strong.

Mrs. Jeon continued her prayer, completely unaware that she was standing nearby. But Jia noticed her presence. Seeing the tears in Y/n eyes, Jia smirked and waved her hand dismissively, signaling for her to leave, as if she were chasing away a stray dog.

Y/N stood there, trying to gather her strength. "I can't let them make me feel weak," she thought. "I need to find Jungkook." She wiped her tears quickly with the back of her hand and took a deep breath, trying to stay calm.

She looked around the garden, hoping to spot Jungkook, but he wasn't anywhere to be seen. The garden was not that big, so it didn't take long for her to realize he wasn't there.

Frustrated but determined, she decided to wait until Mrs. Jeon finished her prayers. She needed to ask where Jungkook was, even if it meant facing more of insults.

Finally, after what felt like enternity, Mrs. Jeon finished chanting, praying and turned around. She stopped in shock when she saw Y/N standing there.

Her hair was messy, with leaves and bits of spider webs stuck in it, due to trying to come out from the basement. Her clothes were dirty, and she looked tired and exhausted.

Y/N took a step forward, trying to keep her voice steady. "Mrs. Jeon, where is Jungkook?" she directly asked without a delay.

Mrs. Jeon was stunned by her boldness. How could this girl dare to ask about her son after everything she had done? Anger boiled inside her.

"Why do you want to know, you liar?" she shouted, and continued. "So you can make up more lies and blame my son again? Hunn?! Listen you girl, it's better for you only if, you Stay away from him..!!"

Y/N bit her lip, her eyes showing how hurt she was by those words, but she remained silent. She knew she deserved this anger because of what she had done in the past.
