Aria sat beside Alex as Lexie walked towards them causing the two of them to look up in slight confusion. "Quit staring. I'm probably gonna change it back anyway." Lexie snapped at the couple who exchanged a glance with one another.

"No, I ... I get it. You get dumped by your boyfriend, and you go for the extreme makeover.
Chicks always do that." Alex shrugged before Lexie looked at the both of them.

"I didn't get dumped. Okay? And I did not do this for Mark. I just ... It's Valentine's day, and I wanted to change something. And ... and I could change ... I ... I wanted to do something for me, okay? This was for me." Lexie explained herself to them to which Aria shrugged at her sister's antics.

"Whatever you say Lex." Aria mumbled while Alex looked between the two sisters.

"How is that different than what I just said?" Alex asked causing Lexie to scoff walking away from the two of them.

"I'm changing it back." She shouted at them while the couple burst out laughing at the youngest Grey.

"Okay, irrigation here and suction, please. So ... Here you go." Bailey asks looking up at Aria while Robbins hovered over her shoulder with her usual bright smile.

"Grandinetti's is gone ... a Seattle institution. Hmm. Dr. Warren, you ever been there?" Arizona asks looking at the anaesthesiologist who looked up. Aria smirked seeing what the peds attending was trying to do between Bailey and Warren.

"Couple times. Good scampi." Warren answered looking quickly at Arizona before back at the monitors.

"Place is so romantic ... perfectly lit, intimate, those cozy little booths, you know, in back." Arizona continues to describe the former restaurant while Bailey grows more frustrated.

"A 3-0 silk tie, please." Bailey asks the nurse not giving a moment to spare a glance at anyone while she tried to concentrate.

"It's a little too intense for a first date, though.
Bailey, where would you go on a first date?" Arizona asks looking at the other attending who had no interest in that conversation.

"Isn't there a dying child somewhere?" Bailey asks looking at Arizona who smiled even brighter if that was possible.

"No. I had some time, and I wanted to observe one of ... one of these." Arizona said causing Aria to chuckle while Bailey shot one of her signature glares at the resident who quickly stopped laughing. However she did exchange a quick nod with Robbin to smiled at her reaction.

"Okay, I'm removing the glass ... very ... slowly. Okay, take this. Bovie." Bailey said looking at Aria who nodded while she removed the glass from the man's abdomen.

"Nice work, Dr. Bailey. Dr. Warren, can you believe that Dr. Bailey almost left general surgery for peds surgery?Did you know that?" Arizona asks looking at Warren who looked at Bailey slightly surprised.

"I did not." He answered honestly with a small smile barely noticeable enough to see.

"Yeah. No, she almost said no to general surgery.
But then she thought about it, and she changed her mind. She wasn't afraid to rethink her decision. She just needed to be asked again." Arizona says trying to add a little pressure to the situation that was growing between Bailey and Warren.

"I see.Clearly." Warren responded with a slight now to Arizona who smiled brightly looking between the three.

Bailey had quickly grown tired of Arizona's attempt to set up with Dr Warren before she had kicked her out of the O.R. This was after Bailey had explained that she would not be dating or going on dates until she ready.

Warren had tried to convince her before she had shushed him as their patient had began bleeding from a tear. "Splenic artery's torn. Oh, he's gonna lose this spleen. Okay, lap pads. Grey we need to work fast." Bailey instructed looking at her resident who quickly nodding trying to stop the bleeding. Bailey had managed to control the bleeding leading to the man becoming stabler once again.

"How's Emile doing?" Mrs Banks asked about her friend who had been in love with her for over 15 years and had watched her love another man.

"I'm sorry. We did everything we could, but the bleeding in his brain was too severe.I'm very sorry." Alex sympathetically answered watching her closely.

"Thank you." Mrs Banks nodded as Alex left before Aria watched the woman break down crying while she exchanged a look with her boyfriend giving him a small nod.
~
"You doing okay?" Aria asked looking at Alex as she brushed her fingers through the back of his hair.

"I'm fine. Valentine's Day is just a waste of time." He mumbled while Aria smiled at him.

"I completely agree with you there. However I do believe there's another way we can celebrate." Aria smirked while Alex looked at his girlfriend.

"Just what is it you are proposing Dr Grey?" Alex replied with his own smirk trying to antagonise his girlfriend.

"Derek and Meredith are at that breakfast thing and won't be back till much later. And I believe I saw Lexie with Avery somewhere around here. So if my calculations are correct the house is completely empty." Aria explained to him while Alex continued to wind her up.

"I still don't know what you are trying to suggest doctor." Alex replied his brown eyes gleamed with his mischievous smirk eyeing her every move.

"What I'm trying to suggest Dr Karev is if you continue to be a jerk you'll be sleeping on the couch for the rest of this week." Aria smirked at her boyfriend who chuckled at her.

"Luckily for me it's Friday." He sarcastically replied while Aria hit his shoulder lightly walking away from him.

"Enjoy your couch." Aria shouted out walking away from him while Alex shook his head laughing before running after his girl who was already very far ahead.
