Aria laid on the bench flicking through her magazine in her scrubs. "Sounds big. I'm betting M.V.C." Jackson says looking at Alex while finished changing into his scrubs.
"Multiple M.V.C. Or an apartment fire." Alex says as he finishes getting ready and heads out of the locker room. Meredith sits beside Aria who doesn't bother looking up from her magazine.
"When is the staring gonna stop?" April asks as Jackson looks up slightly.
"As soon as the novelty wears off.Just ignore them." Jackson says to April as she smiles at him slightly.
"Owen washed my hair. And he told me to eat this grainy nut bar.And he booked me into surgery this morning. He is in charge of me.I'm a bride, and I'm going with it." Cristina says to Meredith and Aria while both of the twins looked at each other.
"But trauma guy didn't clear you." Aria muttered softly still focusing on the magazine she was reading.
"Yeah, but he said he'll figure that out." Cristina says to them.
"Yes. Okay, I am the crazy one.I am the one who freaks out and screams at people...Like that." Lexie says as Aria faces her a sympathetic smile.
"Go gawk at each other for a while." Meredith snaps at them as she turns to her sister. "Are you okay?" She asks her.
"Would everybody please just stop asking if I am okay? Okay?" Lexie snaps at them causing the three of them to nod in agreement before heading in their separate directions.

"Okay, multiple burn victims. Two with paralysis,
three with vision loss, one, uh, blown eardrums, and one dislocated hip." Callie tells all the residents while they exchanged looks with each other."House fire?Explosion?Car wreck?" All the residents questioned which lead to Callie shaking her head in response.
"Uh, act of God." Callie tells them as they all look at each other confused.
"Act of God?" Bailey asks her also confused.
"Yeah, lightning strike." Callie says to them.
"All that from one lightning strike?" Aria asks which she was quite impressed by how much damage it could've caused.
"One lightning strike, eight victims.Took out a whole flag football team." Callie tells them.
"God was in a mood today." Bailey says before dismissing them all to their patients.

"Tell me something. When a person gets out
of the nut house..What's the appropriate amount of time to wait before you propose?" Mark asks while Aria snapped her head up at him clearly he had meant Lexie."What? Long.Longer. Long... a long time. Not now. You aren't even dating anymore." Aria reminded him shaking her head in response. Mark's usual behaviour didn't surprise her but this way completely new level she hadn't anticipated.
"Specifically, how long?" Mark shouted out to her while Aria walked away waving her hand in his direction. She headed to tend to one of her patients.

Aria had gone to find Alex since he had paged her while she ended up in an on call room looking at her boyfriend. "What are you up to?" Aria questioned him eying him suspiciously."Can't I just want to see my girlfriend?" Alex asked while wrapping his arms around Aria's waist.
"You saw me this morning and an hour ago what do you want?" Aria questioned him while Alex smirked pressing his lips against hers.
Alex quickly deepened the kiss before pulling off his scrub top as he leaned in to kiss Aria again but she stopped him. Aria traced her fingers over the bullet that still remained in his side while she looked up at him. "You said you'd get it removed." Aria said softly her eyes wandering to his.
"Aria-" He tried to reason before Aria quickly pulled away seeing the expression in his face.
"I can't do this. I can't do this with the constant reminder of what happened to you. I'm sorry." Aria apologies before pushing herself away before heading out of the on call room and back to her patient.

Alex sat with the other residents watching the puzzle show on tv."What's wrong with you?" Meredith asked looking at her friend."Bailey won't let me operate and your sister won't have sex with me because of the stupid bullet." Alex grunted while Lexie and Meredith exchanged a look which Alex noticed. "What is it?" He asks awaiting their answer.
"You don't remember anything from the shooting do you?" Lexie questioned him while Alex shrugged at her.
"I was shot. In and out of consciousness how much am I expected to remember." Alex replied looking at them bluntly while Lexie sighed.
"Aria was the one who found you first in the elevator. She was the one trying to calm you down when Mark was trying to sort you out. She was begging you not to die while trying not to breakdown. She thought she was going to lose you." Lexie told him before Meredith turned to her friend.
"You're not just anyone to Aria. You are the only person she's ever let get this close to her. She loves you and she thought she was going to lose you. She's still afraid of losing you." Meredith admitted maybe trying to tell herself as well. Alex didn't bother replying while he sat there staring at the tv.

Aria lay facing the wall before she felt the bed shift slightly which caused her to open her eyes. She felt lips trailing kisses across her shoulder and neck while she moved her head slightly giving him more access. She felt his lips leave her skin causing her to turn towards him at the sudden loss of contact. She turned seeing Alex pulling off his shirt before watching her closely. Aria looked at his side seeing it bandaged while she lightly trailed her fingers across it.
"It's gone. It's over." Alex murmured softly while Aria looked up at him before wrapping her arms around his neck. Aria pressed her lips against his before resting her head against his.
"I love you and that's the scariest thing I'll ever do." Aria admitted watching his eyes stare back while he caressed her check.
"I love you." Alex spoke softly. Those three word that once held nothing to Aria now held everything she ever felt. Alex had changed her world and continued to do so. He made her feel worth something. He made her feel loved.
