Aria stood besides Cristina as they stood listening to Arizona. "OK. I know this is the first time on
a Peds rotation with me for some of you. Not for others. But I wanted you to understand that I run my Peds unit differently than you're used to. This
is not general surgery in miniature. These are the tiny humans. These are children. They believe in magic. They play pretend. There is fairy dust in their IV bags. They hope and they cross their fingers and they make wishes. And that makes them more resilient than adults. They recover faster, survive worse. They believe. In Peds, we have... miracles and magic. In Peds, anything is possible." Arizona gives her big speech before leading the group into rounds.

Wallace who was on of Arizona patients stood checking over Hilary as Arizona walks in with Aria,Jackson, Cristina, Charles, Owen and Callie.

"Morning, Dr. Robbins. Hi Dr Grey." Wallace says as Arizona smiles at him. Aria smiled giving him a small wave as Jackson and Charles looked at her strangely.

"Morning, Dr. Wallace..You've introduced yourself to Mr. And Mrs. Boyd?" Arizona says.

"Yes. Reminds me of Hillary at that age.Such an overachiever."  Mrs Boyd says smiling at the young boy.

"Dr. Yang, why don't you present?" Callie says as Cristina moves forward.

"Yeah.Excuse me, little...doctor boy.Uh, Hillary Boyd, 15 years old.Fell off the roof of her house.Fifty-two acute fractures were diagnosed when she was admitted last night. An intricate and extremely challenging ORIF surgery was performed by Dr. Torres and Dr. Hunt this morning. Before rounds." Cristina says to all of them as she stares at Owen.

"Thank you, Dr. Yang.If she fares well enough today, I'd like to go in tomorrow to repair her subtrochanteric fracture." Callie says to the family.

"Can anyone tell me the proper dosage of ceftriaxone for a pediatric patient?" Arizona says as she get an idea.

"Fifty milligrams per kilogram per day." Jackson answers as Arizona nods while turning towards Wallace.

"Mm-hmm.Dr. Wallace, can you tell me the proper dose for this patient if she were 42 kilograms?" Arizona asks with a small smile as she turns to Wallace as works it out on his note pad.

"Two point one grams per day, if you carry the decimal." Wallace answers as Aria gives him a high five a small smile placed on her lips

The group then moved to Wallace bedroom as he climbed into his bed. "OK, who's presenting?" Arizona asks looking at the residents.

"I am, Dr. Robbins." Wallace says looking at Arizona.

"Proceed." She smiled at the young boy who nodded.

"Wallace Anderson.Ten years old, almost 11.Been here for seven months,in and out over the past two years.Suffers from short gut syndrome,
which means he can't absorb nutrition." Wallace informs the residents as Aria smiles at him slightly.

"Exactly. Dr. Percy?" Arizona smiles looking at Charles.

"Fifteen intestinal surgeries to date plus a bowel lengthening procedure which helped for a while, but recently had to go back to being fed through TPN." Dr Percy repeated looking at Wallace chart.

Arizona then turned to Wallace parents where they continued to discuss his progress and the meeting they would be attending later with the chief.

Aria stood drinking her coffee as she looked at Lexie. "What do you know about Reed?" Aria asks turning back to watching Alex.

"Nothing much just that she's friends with Avery and Percy I guess." Lexie shrugged watching her sister with a look of slight confusion.

"Is she dating anyone?" Aria asks to which Lexie turns her attention completely to her eldest sister.

"I don't think so why are you so interested?" Lexie inquires before Aria points towards Alex and Reed.

"I think she has a thing for Alex." Aria mumbled before turning away from the pair of them.

"Oh there's no way. Everyone knows you two are dating." Lexie tried to tell Aria.

"And why would that stop her? I never said Alex was going to act on it. I trust him completely I just don't understand her reasoning." Aria says while Lexie smiles lightly.

"Well that's not entirely true is it. He managed to persuade you to date him." Lexie smiled causing Aria to scoff lightly.

"What can I say he can be charming when he wants to be. Anyway I should go check Robbins post ops." Aria mumbled excusing herself before heading to check her patients she had been assigned by Robbins.

"Dr. Bailey, I... Oh.No shirt. He's wearing no shirt." Reed mumbled looking at Alex before Aria joined coming to check on another of Arizona's patients.

"Have you started to lactate?" Derek smirked as Aria jabbed him in his side glaring at the neurosurgeon.

"Bailey made me!" Alex snapped looking at the other surgeons.

"Is this the room for the calendar shoot? I was told it was downstairs." Mark chuckled as Aria smacked the back of his head as everyone looked at her.

"You won't be laughing when you're having your own children. And I think it working for you Dr Karev." Aria smirked while Alex smiled at her slightly. "And either of you two carry on I'll have a word with my sisters. Believe me boys I can make your lives very difficult I have that power as the eldest sister." Aria smirked slightly watching both men hold their hands up in their defence.

"That's enough. Everybody out.Let Karev do what he's doing in private." Bailey warned both of the attending who left while Aria went to check on one of the babies.

Aria walked into the NICU and saw Alex sitting with the baby on his chest. "You know, this suits you," Aria said with a smile, catching Alex's attention.

"You want us to have a baby now or something?" Alex smirked, teasing Aria. She scoffed playfully at his sarcastic remark.

"You're still a jerk, but no, I mean pediatrics. I think you'd do well here," Aria said, smiling at him while Alex looked at the baby.

"I thought pediatrics was your thing?" Alex questioned his girlfriend.

"Maybe it's both of our thing. Who would've thought I would be good with children?" Aria mumbled. Alex held her hand with his free hand as they spent the night with the baby. They talked and enjoyed each other's company while the baby rested against Alex's chest.
