Finnick Odair POV
Today, I have History and Annie's sick, so I sit next to Clove. Next to her is a girl with curly blonde hair and a girl with a little darker hair than Annie. They are laughing their heads about something. Then, the teacher walks in. They go silent. "Hello, class. Today, I will put you guys in groups of 4 for a project. Today, you can just get to know each other." The teacher says. She starts reading names til I hear mine. "Finnick, Clove, Kinzley,and Sophia." I get up and see that the Kinzley and Sophia girls are the two girls next to Clove. "Yes, we are in the same group, Kinzley." The curly blonde haired girl exclaims. I guess she's Sophia, and the other is Kinzley. "I know! So exciting!" Kinzley says happily. We meet in the back of the room and introduce ourselves. "My name is Finnick, and I love going to the beach." I say. "My name is Clove, and I love killing people with knives." Clove says. I glare at her. "What? I like doing it!" She says. Sophia and Kinzley look at each other, scared, then, just laugh. "I'm Kinzley, and I love hanging out with my bestie, Sophia." She says. "I'm Sophia, and I love hanging out with my bestie, Kinzley. And basketball. And reading." She says. "Oh yeah! I like dance. Actually love it. And my dog!" Kinzley says. "I love my dog, too!" Sophia says. "Ok enough." Clove says. I am thankful cause I was getting bored. We end up talking for the rest of class, and I end up really liking these girls. Like friend like. I wouldn't do that to Annie.
Clove Kentwell POV
I really like Finnick. Like I have a big crush on him. He's just so perfect. Annie's so lucky. I love hanging out with Finnick, Kinzley, and Sophia. They are like my best friends. Cato invited me to a restaurant to eat dinner. We sometimes do this just to catch up about things in our lives. About once a month. I am wearing a dark red dress with a black leather jacket and black wedges. He picks me up, and we go to Capitol Café. We catch up and eat, and then he asks me a question. "Clove, will you be my girlfriend." Cato asks. He gets a text. He reads it and gasps. "You like Finnick! I-I can't believe you! I'm leaving." Cato yells. "Cato! Wait!" I yell towards him, but he is already gone. I know exactly who told him. Glimmer.
