TEN YEARS BACK

Knock, Knock

Come in...Henry answered from within.
Father...
Hades, Finally. The Man sighed, getting up from his seat. Took you long enough to mourn that wretch, didn't it?
Who Said I Was Done?
Bullshit! It's been two weeks, quit playing Loverboy Romeo and come back to the company. I wouldn't mind dragging you there and chaining you down to the office chair if that will help knock some sense into you.
Hades smiled at his father. A smile that was void of any trace of humor, a smile that was deadly, a smile that told of tales of hell.
What's gotten into you? Henry asked, suddenly realizing his son was a little different. He knew Hades wasn't into drugs so there was no use asking.
You Father, You Have Gotten Into Me.
She's dead Son, make the most out of this and get your life back on track. Until then, get out of my room.
I Tried Father, I Swear It I Fucking Tried, Tried To Be The Son You Were Proud Of, Tried To Be The Perfect Heir, Tried To Obey All Your Wishes But It's Sad That You've Made It Clear That You Want To Live Your Life Through Me And That Is Something I Can Never Grant. I'm Not A Puppet Father.
You're not a puppet? Henry let out a chuckle. You're whatever I want you to be! I gave you life goddamn it! Do you now so wish to turn an ingrate to all my sacrifices for you?
Sacrifices...You've Truly Done Enough For Me Father And Maybe It's Finally Time You Take A Well Earned Rest.
What? Are you out of your mind?
It's Time...Hades said but He wasn't referring to his father as two men walked into the room.
What's going on? The Man was confused, looking at his son who had an expressionless veil on his face.
Tie Him Down! Hades gave the command and before his father knew what was happening He was pinned to the bed by the two other men, his hands and legs were tied firmly with a rope to the bedpost.
What are you doing? You wouldn't dare it Hades! You deranged asshole!
Oh Is That So? Seems I Take After You Well Enough. Hades brought out a knife from his pocket, flashing it at his petrified father's face. "23rd of May At Exactly 2 'o'clock, Business Mogul Henry Lenshaw Was Found Dead In His Home, Murdered By Unknown Assassins". Hades said, letting out a brief chuckle. How Wonderful That Would Look On The Morning Papers Father.
Henry was sweating himself to death at that point.
No Answer?
You...you'll fucking regret this Hades. YOU WILL!
No Father, You're The One Who's About To Wish You Never Thought ill Of Venice And I Promise To Make It Slow...And Excruciating Hell Of Painful.
You have let your emotions take absolute control over your senses! Have you learned nothing Hades?!
Oh, But I've Learned A lot From You Father And I'm About To Show You Just How Much. I Would Have Asked You To Send My Love To Venice When You Get To Heaven But It's Certain Hell Is The Only Place Befitting You But Don't Worry Father, I'll Do Well To Keep Your Heart....As My Trophy.

END OF FLASHBACK

Your...your father's? Allison found the voice to ask.
Mhmm.
She stared up at him in a mix of fear and disgust.
Don't Look At Me Like That Pet, People Collect Stuff Now And Then.
Yes, like shells, stamps, legos, and poker cards. Who the hell collects human parts for leisure?
Allison got up and set the beating heart down on the table.
I will...will be down the basement like you said.
What? She wasn't seriously giving up herself, was she?
If you'll let all the guards watch. She added.
Pardon? He was confused.
If you'll let every single man in this house witness what you're about to do. Then it is settled.
And Why Should I?
Because you wouldn't want me to put up a fight and because if you let them watch, I promise to stay as calm as possible throughout the entire process.
If You So Wish! Hades took out the telephone on the table and began speaking to the latter on the other side.
Yes...No, It's Something Different...Get All The Men Down The Basement This Instant...Don't Ask Questions Just Do It...Now!
Done? She asked.
Yes And All That's Missing Is The Muse For The Art.
By muse, he meant scapegoat. She thought.
Good now they're all down in the basement, we won't have any distractions. She said with a sly smile that took him off guard.

He had no idea what she was playing at or what she meant by no distractions but when she came closer with her hands slowly caressing his body, it was clear the message she was trying to pass.

What In The Devil's Name Are You Doing Allison? He asked slight amusement in his voice.
The hell I don't even know....
Do You Have A Death Wish Pet?
I'm going to die afterwards anyway.
Maybe.
Maybe? Having second thoughts now?
I Never Have Second Thoughts But Trust Me You Don't Want This Pet.
You don't know what I want
You're Out Of Your Mind
And so are you....She said, her voice husky as she further let her fingers down his back but Hades was unresponsive. She continued romancing this man until her hands fell on a hard metal object in his back pocket.

SNATCH!

Allison reached out and swiftly pulled out the pistol, backing off as she pointed the gun at a rather surprised Hades. No surprise wasn't the word, He found this little last-minute plot of hers amusing and slightly impressive.

She was panting heavily. This has to be the craziest thing she had ever done. First, seducing her psychopathic devil of a captor and now pointing a gun to the head of a Man she just watched rip out a person's insides a few hours ago. Was she brave or just stupid?

Bravo. He frowned.
Don't you dare move. She threatened holding him at gunpoint. Your men can't hear you remember? Not that farther down the basement.
Perfect Plan. He smiled.
Now, give me the keys to the damn gate and I promise once I walk through those gates you won't be able to tell the difference between me and vapor for the rest of your life. You won't ever hear from me, I promise.
There Are No Keys.
What?
Just A Password.
Crap!
Fine! I'll go downstairs and you'll give me the fucking code, won't you?
Sure. There's Even A Telephone Down There.
Too easy. Allison thought.

This was too easy it scared her. She kept backing away slowly, whilst still holding him at gunpoint. She made sure to shut the door of the room before running outside in a hurry. Once outside, she grabbed onto the telephone.

Give it to me! She yelled, panicked.
2...7...
Yes yes AND?!!!
...5...D...
Come on hurry up....or do I have to come up there and blow your brains off first?! She threatened but deep down she was in a chaos of anxiety mixed with dread and those threats held less weight than air.
....X and 0 He finally finished.

Allison unlocked the gates and turned around to see Hades staring down at her from the window. What could be going through his creepy mind she couldn't fathom and she didn't care either not when freedom was singing out to her. First, she was going to run far away from the dreadful Mansion, locate the nearest telephone booth, and contact Davian. Without another thought, she ran away.

Hades stood by his window as He watched her leave, she must feel so relieved but to him, it felt like having a rat slip out of his grip. Urgh, the frustration but He couldn't deny He loved what she just did, a desperate attempt at living, and the fact that she made the tables turn, making him the hostage this time around. The way she was calling the shots and ordering him, what a role player h! He loved the little tease but the fact still stands that he let her go on purpose.

"Yes...Run Away My Little Pet, Run Far Away. The World Would Be Too Small A Place To Find You Afterall...If I Choose To."
