THE NEXT MORNINGAllison walked downstairs that morning wearing one of her top notch designer dresses with heels that clinked-clanked as she walked down to the living room where a few customers were waiting, seated. These were most of their very well known purchasers and Allison was glad to see their faces again. Okay maybe Hades was an asshole but this showed he was doing his job.
"Mr Craterson! Mr Anderson! Mr Brown, Mr....." on and on she went on as she smiled, shaking hands with each man.
"Miss Hamilton." They smiled back, all suddenly looking behind her as if expecting something else.
"Have a seat please, it's so good to see you again.
"I could say the same."
"It's a pleasure Miss Hamilton."
"So shall we begin?" She asked.
"Oh well actually..."
"Is...something wrong?" She asked, surprised by the uneasiness on their faces.
"Well we're not here for you Miss."
"That's silly." She laughed. "Ofcourse you'd be here to see me just as always, I'm the..."
"Good morning gentlemen, sorry to keep you waiting." Hades said, walking into the room.
"I see..." Allison pressed her lips together, an expression of disbelief and hurt on her face. "So you're the one they came to see."
"Yes."
"May I ask why?"
"Miss Hamilton after the last mess you made, we all think it would be best to let your husband handle things from now on."
"What?" Asked her hurt voice.
Even these men trust Hades more than her. What the hell does he feed people with?!
"Go back upstairs, we have a meeting to discuss." She heard Hades say.
"Why should I go back ups.."
"Miss Hamilton, please don't make a scene over this issue. It'd be best if you let him handle this."
She locked eyes with Hades and he gave her the 'be my guest and ruin things all over again' look.
Screw you! She thought before angrily storming out of the house. Hades watched the fumes of anger rising from her head as she left the living room and it made him smile, obviously she amused him.
"She seems wild. How do you put up with her Mr Lenshaw?" One of the men asked.
"I do try my best." He replied, his eyes still on the door she left half open.Allison took another door back into the house and whilst the tears freely flowed down her cheeks, she couldn't help but find a way to get back at him. How could they do this to her? Having the spare key to his bedroom, she walked inside, searched and searched until she found it, his diary and his credit card.
ADEN'S MASKED BALL
11:00pmA slender woman in a sparking black outfit with an equally matching mask with black feathers attached on the left, held the guests spell bound from the moment she walked in but now she was simply leaning against a wall with a glass in her hand as she examined the people in dim lit the party room. This was like a club only it was for the elite and the people here were more composed. More like an 80s themed affair.
"My God! There you are!"
"Karl! I'm so glad you could come."
"What the hell are you up to Allison?"
"Ahh what happened to calling me princess?" She asked, smiling.
"Are you...you're drunk again?"
"What? Why would you say that?"
"Oh you're not."
"What do mean by that? What happens when I'm drunk?" She asked, suddenly anxious and it made him laugh.
"Nothing serious but honestly, this place is for the big guns, you're in no financial position to afford this..."
"...who says it's my money?"
His eyes narrowed, suspiciously. "Who's is it then?"
Allison shrugged. "While he's having a good time running things at the office and stealing my customers from me. I thought it'd be best to pay him back a little by lavishly spending his goddamn money."
"You're something else."
"This is just the beginning."
"What happens when he finds out?"
"I'd simply deny it."
"You think that would work?"
"Enough about Hades, it's ruining the night."
"I see. Sorry about that."
"While we're on the topic of spending money...tell me, where would you like to spend the holidays Mr Roberts?" She asked, playfully pulling him in by the tie, much to his surprise.
"Sending me on a vacation? Trying to get rid me?"
"Never!" She giggled, rubbing her nose against his.
"You're acting very naughty princess, it's not like you."
"You don't even know me that well."
"Fair enough. So what do we call this then?"
"I don't even know..." she peered into his green eyes.
"You're married princess."
"To a Man I despise to death."
"You still wear his ring."
"He threatened to screw it on, if I dared take it off."
"Pardon?"
"He's a psychopath. I feel...safer around you." She admitted, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Well get used to it princess because I'm not leaving your side anytime soon."
"A promise?"
"Yes"
"Then seal it..." she whispered, huskily, raising his chin with her finger.
"What?"
"Seal it with a kiss."
"Allison..."
"You're mine Karl, just so you'd know."
He stared at her, speechless. "Gladly."
"Now kiss me!"
A smile lit up his face as he held her by the waist. "As you wish princess..."
"Isn't that Miss Hamilton?"
"Oh snap! It's her! It has to be her."
"Didn't she just get married to some top business mogul?"
"How shameless girls of these days can be! She's out here slutting around with her bodyguard."
"I heard he was never her bodyguard but a puppet more like her personal man-toy."
