Coldness...
Darkness...
Pain...
Find me Hades, pleaseeee...Her eyelids flew open. She was back on her bed. Well, Hades bed but he wasn't lying besides her. Where was he? Her shirt had been changed. She remembered!
You need a bath, darling.
I can help myself.
I know....and I don't want you to.
I'm perfectly capable of...
Stop acting like this is the first time I've bathed you. Now get in the tub.The next she remembered was her cheeks flushing as she undressed yet again in front of him but this bath wasn't sensual like the last. It was nerve calming and all the tension and tiredness in her bones faded away with every massage from his strong hands and then he had cleaned up her cuts and applied bandages but where was he now? How long had she slept since that morning. It was seven in the evening by now. The crescent moon was already up.
Where is he?
She tried calling him but it appeared he left his phone in the bedroom. Urgh! Just then Archie ran into the room and she called out to him excitedly as she carried the dog up in her arms and cuddled the animal.
"I missed you too, sweetie."
The animal wagged its tail and barked in return.
"Say....would you happen to know where Hades is?"
Archie jumped down her arms and made for the door. She studied him, surprised.
"Is that a yes?" Allison got to her feet, intrigued. "Alright let's go then. Take me to him."The dog led her down the stairs of the Mansion and it confused her. Was Hades here? But this lead to the basement, what could he be doing down there? As they got closer, she heard screams of pleas.
Horrifying ones that made her freeze in place as she came face to face with the sight. Six men, including Davian. She gasped, shocked. They were all strapped to some kind of electric chair, no doubt electrocuting them as they twitched in their seats.
Also, there was an acid tap hanging over each person's head that let down one drop at a time giving a sizzling and painful sensation to their heads, slowing melting a hole through the center of each man's skull and what was Hades doing? He was sitting comfortably on top of a desk in the middle of the room, not even reacting not flinching as if their screams were music to his ears. Or were they?"Hades!" She yelled, horrified but what struck her the most, he only turned around and smiled.
"Did I wake you up darling? I'm sorry. I had no idea their screams would be that loud up."
"What the hell?" She was baffled. People were dying and all he could worry about was waking her up?
"Go back to sleep, pet. I'll join you when I'm done."Freaking Psychopath! What have you gotten yourself into, Ally?
Allison kept pacing up and down the living room. Hades was taking forever to come out of the basement. Given the fact that the acid tap was going one drop at a time, it might take all night to slowly melt their inner organs away. She reasoned, feeling sick. And he was going to watch all night for his own pleasure. Karl wasn't there. Why did that make her feel relieved?
The next day, Allison woke up that morning to find the dead bodies being loaded into a truck outside the window by Hades' men. They were being driven away, to be buried. Where no one would ever find them again!
"Awake, love?"
"Did you even get any sleep?"
"Not much but it was totally worth it." He smiled, hugging by the waist.
"Hades..." She slowly pulled away from him, much to his surprise.
"What's wrong? Do your wounds hurt?"
"Not much."
"Then what's wrong?"
"You didn't have to..."
"Ofcourse." He frowned. "There's one left, I think he's on the run but I'll definitely find him."
"Don't hurt Karl!" She blurted out and she immediately regretted it.
"What?"
"Let him go."
"He was in on this, I made them all confess before they died. They wouldn't say much but I was able to squeeze Karl's name out of one of them and I'll find him and give him his own piece of cake."
"No."
"Why? You feel sorry for him?" He asked, in disbelief.
"Killing people Hades....I thought we made a deal that you wouldn't torture people anymore, that you'd get blood off your hands."
"Get blood off my hands? How do you expect me to honor my promise when you were carted away in the dead of the night. You were kidnapped, starved and beaten and you expect me to stay calm?" He held both her arms, enraged. "They hurt you Allison, they hurt what was mine. You think I don't look at these bandages on her arm and not want to burn down the whole goddamn world!"
"You could have called the cops."
"Right...a few years in prison and they'd be back on the streets, plotting another revenge. Then it'd be more hard to avert them, given that we would probably have had kids by them."
"Kids?" She asked, spitefully.
"What is it?" He didn't like the sound of her voice.
"You must have taken me for a fool." A tear dropped down her eyes. He hated to see her cry, especially when it was because of him. "You knew I could only conceive once, yet you went ahead with that crappy condition. How could you Hades?"
"Allison...."
"Did you or did you not strike that deal with Vera?"
"Yes, I did."
Allison let out a bitter scoffed. "Perfect! I'm done with this." She turned around to leave but He held her back.
"Allison no!"
"Let go!"
"I won't! I need you to listen to me." He said with pleading eyes.
"What else could you possibly have to say?" She asked, tears trailing. "I can't believe you'd want to ruin my life in such a way!"
"Who told this to you?"
"What does it matter now? You animal!"
"That was before Allison."
"Should I care?"
"You should, back then I had no feelings for you. Back then, I didn't care about you. Back then, all I wanted was to help Vera and her company."
"And now?"
"Now I love you, Allison. Now I can't breathe when you're not near. You have no idea how hard it was for me, the days you were abducted and all efforts to find you failed! Now you've mended my brokenness and with you I feel whole again. Now? Now I don't ever want you to leave."
She could only look up at his sincere face, not knowing what else to say.
"Please Ally," He held her hand. "I need you to believe me."
She snatched her hand away from his and she could see the hurt in his eyes as she did so.
"I'm leaving."
"What?"
"I don't know who to believe and I don't know if I can even trust you Hades."
"Don't say that, Ally."
"I need time away from you Hades. Time to get myself together. I'm not sure if this isn't just one big mistake from the very beginning."Tears trailed down her eyes as she spoke. He moved closer to her to comfort her but she only moved back, avoiding him, still crying. Why won't she let him, hold her? He felt hurt.
"Allison listen to me..."
"Hell no! Don't talk to me! Don't even come close"What was wrong with her? Damn it all but he wanted to kiss some sense into her, kiss her so senseless and erase that stupid defiance in the process. He wanted to kiss her so badly that it actually hurt. This marriage might have been a sham in the beginning but when he looked at that pretty little thing with red hair, she was his. "His tears, His ring, His woman"
"I'm leaving..." She said and with that, he helplessly watched her leave the room only to come back later with her luggage in her hand.
"Archie let's go!" She said but the animal wouldn't budge. "Archie?!" She groaned, frustrated and it hurt her that her pet ran behind Hades' legs.
"Fine! I guess he's stolen you from me as well. Along with every other thing." She said, bitterly, ignoring him as she left the house.Hades picked Archie up in his arms and they both stared through the window, watching her leave through the gate. The dog, whimpered sadly.
"Me too, little guy." Hades sighed, heavily, stroking its fur. "I'll miss her too."
Little miss fury.....
